  2. Damn you lol and in any case he mainly played LB at Everton and impressed more for his goalscoring exploits than his defensive performances. No, Leighton Baines played LB.
  3. And who was the player in Everton that made him look rock solid?
  4. Agger miles better than Lescott?
  5. Dave loves a thread title change.
  6. 4-4-2 according to nufc.co.uk Harper Simpson - Tavernier - Colo - Raylor Ameobi - Tiote - Jonas - Marveaux Ba - Cisse ?
  7. Of course, but it's not easy for a club like Lille to replace a France international and probably their best player. I have no problem with the way Lille are doing this. It's what we have said about our club earlier. The the replacement in before selling the player. The only way to do it.
  8. This. As if it was hard to figure out Can't see where the facepalm fits in anyway. Of course he wants to keep him. He's their best player and a France international. Modric wanted to leave Spurs last summer but Levy didn't sell him and he still had a great season. Maybe Lille wants to do the same with Debuchy. It's ridiculous. Lille are nowhere near what Spurs are. He's made it clear he wants to leave. It's time they stopped f***ing around pretending they're gonna talk him out of it. So what? They're going to play in the CL next season and wants Debuchy to be a part of that. Pretty sure you would say something else if a Newcastle player was in the same situation. That's the crux of the issue. Debuchy doesn't want to be part of a few group round games. He wants a new challenge in life and has made it clear he wants to leave. But he still has a contract and should respect that. How would you react if a bigger club came in for Cabaye and he said in media that he wants to leave ect. Pretty sure you wouldn't be very happy.

  14. Probably Spurs as a part of the Modric deal?
  15. Didn't they say that he would sign this week too? Or was it last week?
  16. Isn't he the player we were linked to from Getafe?
  17. Looks like he's having a meeting with the president today or tomorrow. http://www.footlille.com/2012/07/26/36009-michel-seydoux-dit-oui-mais-pour-debuchy
