  1. Replica used to mean ok though, was always in the Umbro labels. Looking at his other items I think that’s a legit shirt from the time.
  2. Any previous points can only be used as a guide, the relative weakness of the top 2 compared to other years immediately makes the points available higher, for example when Man City and Liverpool both finished on over 90 it meant less pints dropped v chasing pack etc. Fulham should win at Southampton Saturday in the conference battle which keeps them interested at Villa, could maybe do with Villa getting to the final to cement Europa and hope that takes their eyes of the prize.

some very thin gruel there, bless.
  4. Just backed us to get top 5 at 1.79! Top 4 is 1.86 so good value for extra spot.
  5. 1.46 on Betfair exchange which seems value tbf. May drift further should Chelsea and forest both win, although the double for that is pretty big. Forest in particular seem value at a fairly disinterested spurs, ideal game for them imo.
  6. Yeah that’s what I was about to say. Think it may have changed now.
  7. Swindon usually considered West Country and got promoted along with us in 93, although it’s Wiltshire but close enough.

Didn’t realise they had such a poor record against Bristol city as well as Coventry. Looks nailed on it’s one of them in the play offs
  9. Bristol must be the largest city to not have been represented in the premier league?
  10. We are guaranteed a closer ’local’ Derby than Manchester next season anyway. It’s weird Watford and Norwich not being near play offs and West Brom likely missing out too.
  11. Much like with Wembley where 23 was a lot about the experience etc (not for everyone) but the players seem to have learned I’m hoping for the same from Europe and hopefully the champions league next season. I was quite happy with the draw last time as thought why not have all the glamour ties but happy enough to just progress next time and no reason why we can’t emulate Villa with a fair wind. Almost still guaranteed a few big games along the way but also. Few fairly winnable ones. I think feyenoord and Leverkusen are our only away wins from three campaigns now, not including qualifiers, that’s something we will be looking to remedy.
  12. Format is totally different. They’ve done well but we would have easily got through this year.

Listened to a podcast today about the 1985 league cup final, I didn't know a lot about it but the guest was a local player and sound bloke to be flair who was blamed for Norwich's winner and was subject to constant abuse, including a broken eye socket, in 'sun'lun', not just the foreign lads who have felt the wearside wrath: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/nov/08/torment-catharsis-sunderland-david-corner-1985-league-cup-final
  14. Fulham could be king makers, got Chelsea home sunday then man city home final day, with a visit to villa in between. Wouldn't mind Forest winning cup but would rather City did than Palace or Villa, who I don't care for. Villa having the distraction of the cup final may be beneficial however. One thing is certain, any big 6 talk is all but redundant, barring an English europa win. Spurs have had one CL season in about 5 years, chelsea have missed out last few and could do again. Man United look like they won't qualify via the league anytime soon.
  15. I wasn't but I think its quite iconic due to cup final now, sold out I think
