May be better than playing in middle of season when fatigue and two games a week kicks in.

Probably best avoiding promoted sides early doors too, even Southampton gave us a game last season.

Loads of mackems had a ‘big team’ growing up whilst they were in the doldrums and they are different from us as happy to just see the likes of Liverpool/Man U etc rather than form rivalries imo.
