However their statements are specific enough I think we would have absolutely gotten a statement from Ashley/the club if they were completely making it up.

I think you have to say we have just by the fact that we'll have Kenedy and Dubravka for a full season and Mitrovic and Mbemba didn't play. But we're still incredibly fragile through the middle - we didn't buy a #10, Diame's legs could go at any minute, Shelvey is obviously a risk, and another injury to Lascelles doesn't bear thinking about. We'll probably finish in the 8-12 range if things go well, 13-16 if we hit some back luck, and around the bottom if we lose some key players. Without Rafa the only thing we'd be talking about is if three teams could possibly be worse than us.
