Sane is so good and Aguero is such a bastard against us.
-
Wow, unreal save.
-
What a ball by Clark. Definitely not entirely intentional.
-
The ref really hesitated there.
-
Amusing, but this is the problem with referees in all sports. So many decisions made on past behavior and perception.
-
Nice from Murphy there but needed to shoot or pass much faster.
-
Le Saux just said Ederson’s goal should be moved to the halfway line. Dick.
-
Not that new It’s his first PL start.
-
Would rather lose 8-1 than draw 0-0.
-
What a crap goal to concede.
-
Yup, and Atsu doesn’t have the pace or ability to beat Walker. Without an outlet it’s only a matter of time.
-
Atsu and Murphy not ready for what’s needed here.
-
New rule, you can use the opponent’s body if you get both arms fully stretched on the shoulders.
-
Their pressing is relentless and we have no one that can beat a man or not shit themselves.
-
Would have been a carbon copy of the goal a few weeks ago.
-
I guess McCarthy won’t be coming. Not that he was anyway.
-
Have to take chances like that to beat these.
-
Why did all of the defenders just clear out of the way?
-
They did play four of the top six in that time in fairness. Also not surprising they struggled during the Christmas period since they barely rotate. They will probably drop a bit in the second half of the season.
-
Based on that it seems very likely they might come back with a bid after safety is confirmed. Seems like they might need some more cash up front though. I think that second bid is actually worse than the first.

The entire article seems like something Bishop would have pitched and that specific line came directly from his email.
-
I suppose if Chelsea get a transfer ban they can just recall/not loan out the 87 players they have scattered around Europe.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jan/18/newcastle-united-amanda-staveley-mike-ashley-unusual-case?CMP=share_btn_tw Eurgh, here comes all the huff painting her in a bad light etc. That article is a bullshit, Ashley puff piece. First of all, why didn't they write that a month or two ago? Secondly: I don't think anyone is expecting him to and I'm not sure anyone is annoyed specifically because he won't accept £250m. However, the club he bought was firmly established in the PL, only a few years removed from the CL, hadn't been relegated since the start of the PL, and was one of the wealthiest clubs in the world before the PL's insane TV deals made that list mostly meaningless. Those TV deals are literally the only reason the club isn't worth a fraction of what he paid for it and he is doing nothing to ensure we continue to benefit from those deals.
