  1. Regardless of the rule I would assume so because of the chaos that would ensue.
  2. The LC semifinals are the midweek before the 4th round (most relevant for Arsenal/Chelsea) and then there are PL midweek games the week after, which includes Spurs-Man Utd. Hope we get a good draw - would be nice to think about the FA Cup beyond January.
  3. Would mean less break in play as well. This is exactly how it should be used. It should basically be a fifth official who has the benefit of multiple angles and replay. That article from a couple pages back is garbage. There may be some fumbling about as this gets implemented but I'm fairly certain the end result is going to be a nearly identical game of football with a few less wrong decisions, especially egregious ones. Considering the financial stakes of games these days it's insane for one (or three) people to rule on everything in real time.
  4. Nah, Pep wants to win four trophies and especially the CL. They’ve lost Jesus for at least two months. It’s an embarrassment of riches in terms of talent but it makes sense.
  5. Hart playing in a baseball cap away to Shrewsbury kind of sums up where his career has gone.
  6. That'd be more than I'm expecting. Same assuming Ashley still owns us on Feb 1. A fit Danny Ings could make a huge difference, but obviously a risk.
  7. I refreshed the board and it didn’t load. Happened 4-5 times. Thought something got announced and the board crashed. Then I realized a breaker got flipped that knocked out the WiFi because I’m trying to unfreeze our pipes. Fuck.
  8. Can you show me the fitness stats you have? Would be curious to see since Rafa didn’t post them on Insta this morning.
  9. Team is announced - “well played Rafa, taking the cups seriously” Lascelles off injured - “ridiculous to start first teamers, should have played the kids”
  10. Started shifting after the lineups came out but I just put all the money I had left in an account on us. We're certain to lose now.
  11. Woah, guess they all came through the Christmas period ok.
  12. Yeah, they did a great job with Lucas Oil and for a number of reasons it has become a top city for events. Indy is where the NCAA is headquartered and for a football stadium it's about as good as it gets for basketball sightlines so it's on a five year rotation for the Final Four, it's hosted the Super Bowl, it hosts the NFL Combine, the Big Ten Championship, and it's getting the College Football Championship in a few years. You can almost justify a taxpayer funded stadium if it's bringing in that many events, but it's still a joke.
  13. They slide in and out for different sports and concerts. That is what West Ham’s Olympic stadium was supposed to be like, instead they got scaffolding and temporary seating. The only way to make these massive football stadiums financially viable, especially when taxpayer funded (a disgrace), is to make them adaptable enough to be in the rotation for other major events. This is why many of them have a roof (retractable optional) regardless of climate, lower bowl seating that may look awkward, and non-standard shapes. Then it can support football as the main event, plus basketball (NCAA tournament), soccer (maybe MLS, friendlies, potential WC), major concerts with different configurations, etc.
  14. This would be a hilarious twist.
  15. Two different press conferences. I'm not even sure if this is a joke or not. I can't believe anything.
  16. Some people think Rafa looked happy and some think he was angry? How can that be?
  17. It's only funny because we'll obviously never spend that. That's not a crazy fee. I find it funnier that they want to replace him with Benik Afobe.
  18. I may have missed this but what does this mean on the Companies House page... EDIT: Nevermind, it's 2018. This madness needs to end.
  19. I may have missed this discussion a month ago but the Saturday night matches are a wonderful addition.
