  1. Phillips will do well at West Ham I think.
  2. If we sell Wilson I hope it’s abroad or to someone we’re not competing with. I don’t want to see him banging goals in for Chelsea. Still would prefer to keep him though.
  3. If that happens he will be vilified and rightly so. I'm far more optimistic though - I think we're going to see a player who is far more comfortable with the language and the system, a huge monkey off his back, and a debt to be repaid to the club, his coaches, and his teammates.

    Alfie Harrison

I mean, this is the dream really. You collect talent, you see who rises to the top, and the ones who don't are sold to various levels and leagues to fund other purchases.
  5. I think it's very fair to say we probably didn't see the best out of him given a new league, new system, new language, and the secret looming over him. But I'm going to dislike him very quickly if he continues to lazily trackback, especially knowing he's genuinely fast based on the UEFA speed data.
  6. I think Tonali will come good, but I don't think there's any question we'd sell him tomorrow if someone offered what we paid.
  7. PSG opening all those stores when they'd be full of Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar shirts made a lot of sense. I'm curious to see how many stay open in the next few years (if they don't have a global star).

I don't know if he tore his ACL or what the injuries were, but it was on the City forum and somewhere else that he basically lost two years from age 14-16 due to knee injuries.
  9. I'd be more open to selling him in summer 2025 for, say, 75% of what we'd get this summer. I'd really like one more full season with Bruno after some summer strengthening and presumably less injuries. I think we can go places and then we (and he) can assess where we are. He's also contributed plenty and I'll understand on all sides if we get a massive fee and he gets to play for Barcelona or someone, but it would feel like it was unfinished.
  10. I agree with most of this, but Bruno should only be available at or near his release clause (which I would say is borderline obscene). Otherwise, if he's happy, we're far better off keeping him.
  11. Here's Flamengo's Adidas section: https://loja.flamengo.com.br/linha-adidas
  12. We are by all accounts. My comment above mentions we may not get as much custom stuff as some of the others.
  13. This should be top of mind every time there's a link people freak out about a link... From Caulkin in The Athletic Q&A: The end result for most journalists there is they are writing something, usually because they only have one of those four sources and they need content. It's "true" but far from the whole picture.
  14. I don't know where it started honesty, but it's been reported widely at this point. I did also see somewhere there are even levels within the Elite group and we'll be at the bottom with Flamengo. I think all that means is we won't get quite as much custom stuff as the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Man United. Fair enough.
  15. And we are also in that tier. I think what will be available from June will make it obvious how second rate everything was with Castore (and Ashley).
  16. Nope, most of that is great news. Bruno is the big domino.
  17. If we end up not selling / buying anyone he's going to have his work cut out for him with a midfield three of Bruno, Miley, and Longstaff (and two, possibly five, games without Bruno). Desperately need Willock back, but hard to be confident he'll contribute much this season.
  18. I guess there are too many competing interests among the clubs and kit suppliers, but feels like a massive missed opportunity that there aren't official Premier League stores all over the world.
  19. This is what we're up against: https://en.psg.fr/fans/official-stores Stores in London, NYC (on 5th Avenue), LA, Vegas, Miami, Toronto, Tokyo (x3), Doha, Seoul, and more.
  20. A perusal of a Forest forum has taught me two things: 1) He shouldn't be sold for less than £80-100m - some think that's his value and others think that because they'll certainly get relegated without him 2) They really hate Newcastle - the football club, the beer, the city, and its people Oh, and one of them was on here...
  21. Feels like something weird going on there with the pool he's being compared to. It's not hard to find lots of promising stats for him. He was in Wyscout's 2022/23 U23 team of the season with Haaland, Saka, Martinelli, Willock, Botman, etc. "The Forest talisman ranks highest among U23 players across Europe’s Top 5 leagues for expected assists (9.86) and aerial duels (199), as well as being second for smart passes (46) and fourth for key passes (26)." Also this (players eliminated by a dribble or pass):
  22. MGW for anything less than £50m seems like a bargain.
  23. True, we could do that. We've decided not to for whatever reason. Maybe the money isn't worth the likely hassle. Or maybe related to what seems to be a clear attempt (only maybe Sela aside) of doing everything above board.
  24. I really hope we don't bring Krafth back unless it's on far lower wages.
  25. That feels linked to the fact that we have a promising replacement in place for one and the other leaves a big, unknown hole. I agree we're going to miss a lot of the work he does and it could be hard to find the right player, but spun another way... There's also far greater potential for a new RW to transform us whereas we're mostly hoping Tino can just match Trippier.
