Anyone who actually likes Stoke need their eyes scooped out with a ladel.

Surely you can only support one team. I understand people liking other teams but to genuinely 'support' more than one is bizarre.

Lovenkrandz is an intelligent player, he just hasn't got the legs and strike partner anymore.

When they carry the ball and keep possesion it's better than just running (or strolling) about and doing nothing of note. Ranger has eased the pressure on us a few times this season just by being able to hold/carry the ball and run at defenders. He needs to work on all aspects of his end product but if he is at least keeping the opposition defence busy he is keeping ours untested. Very valid points. His running and harassing of defenders is very good, but he has a long way to go yet.

It's hardly been aimless. That's what Shola and Loven have been doing for the last few weeks anyway so you have no point. Ranger charges everything down which is a great thing, but it's no use if your fucked after 30minutes and can't score goals. He can potentially be a decent player, but he has a lot to learn. He could learn a great deal from Lovenkrands and his movement if he want's to be a good player.

I find it funny how just because someone aimlessly runs around it makes them a better player...

It's an absolute travesty when a team like Stoke are ahead against a team like Arsenal, from a purely footballing point of view.

There wasn't any real need to go for it any more than we did. We were 2-1 up against 10-men and regardless of 'not going for it' Foster made several good saves and one or two chances were cleared off the line. We could have easily won by 3 or 4 on another day...

Thought it was a professional performance yesterday. Got ahead and retained a lot of possession second half. Very Barcelona-esque, we just didn't have the finishing touch to put the game to bed.

Had a decent game against shit opposition yesterday. I like the lad, always have done, but I think he's a very average centre back. As mentioned he provides a decent attacking threat from set plays though. Right back would be his strongest position for me but I personally reckon being cover for the back four is ultimately where he is 'at' at the moment.
