Completely agree. Who is picked at CB will say an awful lot about whether we really are trying to move forward. Not signing another CB pre-Southampton I can handle, but if Williamson starts then all the small steps we have taken so far will be rendered pointless.

You can be injured/recovering, but still able to do some training. Just not enough to make a long-haul trip to America to play three friendlies worthwhile (although you could argue that even fully fit this is not worthwhile!).

Olympic Stadium is just down the road from me and apparently when West Ham move in there are season tickets going for as little as £289.

 

At that price I might be tempted, just to pop down there when I fancied watching some live football.

That being so the renewal figures are hopefully even better than we had hoped.

There are seats that weren't available yesterday that have now been released.

West Ham have sold out for their Europa qualifying game on Thursday. Pretty impressive.

Those bits are the various bars - Sports Bar, Club 1892 etc.

The corners, other than the Strawberry Corner, look very sparsely populated.

Baffles me why Sky can't sort out their televised games more quickly. Understandable (to an extent) later in the season where they are waiting to see what games are going to be worthwhile, but at this stage there is no real reason why they can't have made their picks within a day or two.

Shouted his name and he came over to sign autographs for some kids. Told him I wasn't there to abuse him and just wanted to ask him what his justification was for starting Taylor in midfield ahead of Anita/Abeid. No swearing, no shouting. He couldn't even look at me let alone respond, although you could see his nostrils flaring.

I don't know what I thought I'd achieve or expected him to say really, but just felt I had a right to ask him. Think even less of him than I did before for blanking me though - I thought the whole image/persona he presents is based on being able to front up and look people in the eye.
