We are not their Kryptonite as they absolutely battered us last season, maybe they were the team that outplayed us the most. The good part is that now we have a capable manager who did change how we play specifically against Villa - оur defenders going up the field for their long through balls, Bruno sitting a little bit deeper and not pressing, trying to upset their play with very high-press the first 10-15 minutes of each half, us trying diagonal through balls to beat up their very high line etc.

If Tonali plays on the right, most action will happen there with Tripps and Almiron like we saw in the first half with Rangers. This will leave space on the left for Barnes to quickly hit shots on goal. I think that's why it wouldn't work with Maxi as the action is not on the left usually with Burn supporting that side. We also saw this with Joe and Willock, usually that side was for the quick attacks with long balls or on the counter.
