  1. Nope yep No. Horrific by the linesman eh bbc radio newcastle called it 3-1 at full time. Pantilimon went up for corner, Spurs broke and Vertonghan was in his own half by 5/10 yards yet was given offside cant get my head round this.

yeah fair enough- I was not saying hes not good enough btw. Id have him here for the rest of this season tbh. Im just not as certain as some people , I keep reading- 'he'll get them the goals they need' etc. Im simply not convinced - even his best ever form would equate to around 6 goals the rest of this season.- Is that enough for them? can he match or better his best ever form with them?

1 goal in the 14 games he played 13-14. He started 3 premier league games ffs I don't particularly like Jermain Defoe, he's obscenely one dimensional and only performs well in certain formations, but he's a perfectly serviceable striker for Sunderland, and a pretty massive improvement over Jozy Altidore. For this season at least. your making my point for me. its been 18 months -2 years since he played and score regular at premier league level.

he scored a whopping 1 league goals in the 13-14 PL ,season And 9 in the other competitions, in half a season. Let's be fair to the guy. yeah europe? thought it was fair not to include this where Sunderland are concerned.

Upgrade on Jozy. If he scores goals and we stay up the next couple of seasons I think he's worth it. Hopefully it means a change in approach. If we go two up top it might mean we push further up the pitch and press more from the front. If he plays as a lone striker with no one within 30 yards of him we're going down and be lumbered with an ageing striker on a fair wedge. Saying that I think we don't sign anyone unless they agree to a relegation wage drop these days. Very much in the wait and see camp at present. If you go two up top, it will expose your defence and the demons from the 8-0 will haunt Poyet- he will be up sweating all night with this conundrum.

they seem 100% certain it will work out and propel their club to that next level they keep on about.
  12. If he has them attributes and cant speak english, Ashley will fucking love him.
  13. January 2015 he was unveiled as the new head coach of Premier League team Newcastle United. Upon signing he announced his love for Newcastle Brown Ale, Greggs and a "special managers' discount card" at Sportsdirect as key factors in joining the club. He has a good friendship with long term Newcastle assistant manager John Carver. They are frequent drinking buddies down the bigg market. He has been the manager of several German clubs since 2003. His most recent post was as head coach for Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart.
