  1. a most realistic football manager game, with 3d lifelike action. http://www.fraserking.co.uk/spectrum/screenshots/Football_Manager2.png
  2. It sounds like its come a long way since I used to play on this. http://www.mobygames.com/images/shots/l/120062-football-manager-zx-spectrum-screenshot-team-selections.png
  3. how up to date is this stuff? is updated regular? Im thinking a large part of scouting players is based on thier current availability- as there would be little point in say - needing a keeper ,finding one on a computer that sounds right, then discover in reality hes not available anyway.
  4. seriously This is real news to me.
  5. dont accept that premier league clubs scout players on football manager games sorry.
  6. Id like to think your basic education of football would come from actually watching games, going to games and watching all formats of football. Agreed. I think FM is of most use to scouts, due to its large database with player info. who inputs the player info?
  7. Aye, that's exactly what people are saying. Anything to contribute outside of snidey, arsehole remarks? It seems like that's all you're capable of. Thought so. ok, I will put that more straightforward if it helps you. Pardews critics do themselves no favours talking about computer games.

  9. Ashley, Pardew, Bishop etc meeting up at the training ground, for a coffee, chat over the upcoming transfer window.... Bishop ' Here lads look at this website- The Fans who dont like Alan think they can do better cos they have been good at a football manager computer game' ....Lots of Laughing out loud. ...Pardew is here forever.
  10. Assumes that there's no man-management involved too, which there is, fucking loads. At this level its probably one of the big factors that effects form. If that game Is not going into the man management, club/ squad/team politics, and it assuming that all these things are rosy and every instruction requested by the game player is carried out correctly- then its missing some fundamental things that have to be overcome by a manager.
  11. btw is there will probably be a thread on SMB anytime soon about fights with Leeds.
  12. cant see how it can be rigged when theres 64 balls drawn from a transparent pot in front of TV cameras.
  13. Rodgers career as a player was cut short due to an injury. If he wanted to continue in football, then it was as a coach or a manager. Rogers retired young to lock himself in his bedroom for 10 years and play Football Manager and learn to be a good manager. A career in the army was an option, but he didn't enjoy Call of Duty so wasn't great at shooting a gun. I was actually thinking about that game/ vs real wars before when that Fm thing broke out..
