I drove through walker today and saw the west stand in full view- why not advertise on there? all the chavs can see it. I was also struck by the thought that, if Ashley is using the stadium as a vehicle to advertise- then maybe he will do well if we got in the champions league, and just maybe that is his plan. then I woke up and went back to work.

as you approach baggage claim in the domestic flights bit, theres a fuck off big sign on the wall advertising going to the stadium of shite, proclaiming its 'only 30 minutes from Newcastle airport by Metro'. I saw it and immediately thought the club probably paid a fair whack to have that put there in an attempt to draw in the tourists. I then thought, 'like fuck would you get from the airport to sunderland in half an hour'. why would they even do that? tourists arnt interested in looking at the outside of a football stadium, and sunderland never qualify for European football.
