You know, I had never even considered that. Good point, like many have pointed out that in welbeck, onouha, mensah,el mo (sic) it'll cost them best part of 20mill to stand still...throw in muntari ? Would say it is unlikely Onouha will be signing and it's debatable whether he is any better than Bardsley,Mensah will be in last year of his Lyon contract in the summer and will be available for a small fee I'd imagine, deal is already in place for Elmohamady and Muntari for £2m and £6m respectively should we wish to take those offers up and the chances of signing Welbeck are slim to say the least. Bruce has already said that we will be breaking our transfer record on a striker in the summer so on that basis we would have Gyan, new striker,Campbell and then probably another young loan striker as 4th choice like Welbeck was this season, who knows Fergie may loan us Welbeck for another season yet if his chances at United are going to be limited. you must be excited as that basicallly means it already sorted ? or is bruce mouthing off again. sounds like us a few years back. never mind the quality, look at the price tag. Bruce has broke the transfer record twice at Sunderland, first of all on Bent and then Gyan and it's fair to say they have both been value for money so no reason to doubt he will get the right bloke in again. you don't see the stupidity in saying " i will break the transfer record again on a striker" ? Not really, you don't sell your main striker for £24m and then replace him with someone for £7m unless you want to go backwards, all the strikers we will be looking at will be at the top end of the market. and you think they want to come to sunderland? Why wouldn't they? Not out of the question that we could still qualify for Europe and that would be a big bargaining tool. Because it's a shit hole. thats what i was thinking but didnt want wearside to sit up till 3am thinking of a name to call me again.

A top flight record away win that still stands to this very day I do believe, those were the days. Indeed they were the days, living in the shadow as usual as Newcastle won the league title. and sent out our youth team against sunderland, hence the 9-1.

Eh The last page has mostly consisted of people taking the piss out of your own knee jerk fans for suggesting relegation, and that's supposedly us being bitter and obsessed? Go to sleep silly mackem. CP40 is possibly the most bitterest man on any internet messageboard I have ever witnessed and I include Benwell Lad and the whole of RTG in this assessment. cheers To be fair, he has a point. But what he neglected to mention is your equal opportunities approach to bitterness and pessimism http://www.eyeonspain.com/images/blogs/victormeldrew.jpg take a look at any pre match thread, or preseason thread this year and you will find I am far more optimistic than than most on here. I was kidding ah ok. but you were right on the money- cos my lass calls me Victor Meldrew- hence the bite

Steve Bruce is thick as fuck! Does he honestly believe that Chris Hughton or Derek Llambias told the DJ what to play at the end of the game? The only reason it was played was because we were singing it throughout the game, and that is what made it funny at the end. When have the mackems ever sang "who let the dogs out" at us? Tbh if he was choosing a song based on what was sang by the mackems on the day the only thing he could have chosen was "the sound of silence" as they were quiet as church mice throughout! announcing he had a special revenge song- then not getting to use it has to go down as a Major fucking embarrasment- what a tw@t.

Do people believe west ham will get 60,000 every game?
-
Anybody who wears wacky hats like that should be refused entry inside the stadium. must be 14000 of them turning up to your games then.
