I love how it took a billion Hiroshimas and Michael Owen to wipe out the dinosaurs.
-
No, you and the other followers have established that.
Against Swansea he was out of breath by the 12 minute mark, despite barely moving from the centre circle. Those who can't see a problem either have low expectations or are just blinded by his impressive tally of goals.
How do you explain his decline in the last 2 months btw? Nowt to do at all with fitness levels of course.
I'm with Ronaldo on this. The guy is carrying excess weight, and he does tire too easily.
I do think it's also partly because of the amount of games he's played without a break. There's a clear difference between him at the start of the season and now, and I think its burnout.
However, he's simply too chubby around the midriff.
-
Dry hump them. Basically we won't really get in there but will still get the end result. Everyone will wish it was full on sex but at the end of the day as long as you cum it's all good, right?
;D
-
Suddenly he should be playing for England again.
FFS.
-
Vidic off no? If not, why not?
Not even booked.

Sounds to me like you've got it all under control Stu boy. I'd be more than happy to pay the £80 to get 45 mins of action in on the hallowed turf. It will be a fantastic event. If you can't afford it or think it's not worth it then you don't have to get involved. Personally I'd be walking over hot coals, broken glass and disgusting mackems to get to this.
Ditto.
-
It's seems a bit expensive for only 45 mins, give us the full 90, and extra time and pens if needed then I'd be willing to pay for it.
It's OK, you don't have to attend, nor post in the thread.
Doesn't the website say 60 minutes for each 11-man squad?
-
Yeah, I'll be free that day - what was the word on the official price?
EDIT: Hmm that gives me a few months to get 'half' match fit - TRAINING REGIME ... GO!
What are we doing for kits?
One team in toon home, other in toon away?
Who do I pay my monies to?
Does everyone get a set amount of minutes on the field?
Everything he said.
I'm dropping the smokes and starting a fitness regime this week!

Harper
Simpson Will Colo Aanholt
Guthrie Smith Nolan Jonas
Carroll Best
Is what he'll probably go with... maybe Guthrie/Smith behind Carroll/Nolan with R Taylor on the right.
-
Massively psyched.
-
Standouts for me: Adjei, Newton, Dummett and I was also impressed with Tavernier.
The whole team works quite well as a group, and I think Newton makes the thing tick. He sits in the Smith position and has great application, and he also gets into great positions driving forward.
Adjei looks tidy, it'll be interesting to see if he can step up in the long run.
Dummett was outstanding in the air, and very tidy again.
Ameobi looked devoid of fitness, and I think he's just back from injury so perhaps that explains it. He's quite like Shola. Lanky, and has a few deft touches but his movement and final ball are poor.
Really enjoyed the match, and will definitely attend the semi.
-
2-0. I think Adjei again.

I'm going!

I'm absolutely definitely game for this!

Did you read the last paragraph of the Enrique article?
Talk about hiding bad news..
well its another body
If we raid the mortuary we could add more useful bodies to the squad than his tho.

Best strikes me as a Heskey type player in our current set-up.

Routledge out with a calf injury.

is he injured or benched?
If he's dropped him for anything but injury, Hughton deserves shot.
9 scored, 2 conceded in last two games at home with the Guthrie/Nolan set up.
What'll we do?
Oh I know, we'll change it!
-
Routledge out, Guthrie on the right, Smith centre.
-
Not on the telly I reckon?
Ask yourself when the last time a Saturday 3pm game was on the telly.
I really should stop trying to be funny. Either people get offended or just don't understand the joke/find it remotely humorous.
I got it.

That's what Hughton said about Barton now... looks like he won't be fit for Coventry. (Looks like I've been right there with not trusting Chris's statements about Barton's fitness)
Btw: Can anyone explain to me what "lads group of games" means?
Or is it a missprint and actually has to be "last group of" games?
“Joey’s involvement in training has been a bit part.” “He will join in part of the sessions but not all of them then we will develop it from there.”“We would like to think he can play a part in these lads group of games – but he has to get to fitness first.”
I took it to mean the end of the season.
I don't understand how Barton could possibly be out for the whole season with whatever injury it was he had.
