I think it's because you're only really paying attention to what we're doing. Unless you're trawling Twitter/message boards for a load of other clubs of course, which I assume you don't (like most normal people!)
You're probably right. I hope so, anyway!

Why is it only our transfers seem to go like this? Everyone else just seems to get the deal done. We monitor for four years, low-ball first in a widely publicised saga, allowing a PSG/Everton to come in and hijack.
-
Possibly wishful thinking, however supposedly the initial bid (and presumably rejection) was put to press by Leicester, not us. Newcastle didn't want it public.
Might it be possible that if a 3rd bid was in the process of being lodged, or even has been lodged and is being negotiated rather than rejected, Leicester wouldn't put it out there as they don't intend to reject.
Just thinking this might be one where it goes quiet before "Agreement reached" gets announced.
As I say, probably wishful thinking.

Going to both games!

Irritated that I'm apparently the only one who queued but got thrown back out to a maintenance screen.
-
Got to "Less than one minute" and now it's gone down for maintenance.
Must have sold out.

Superb yesterday.
Poor chap made a superb last ditch challenge, and the commentator slapped praise on Matt Targett. -
Gave 22 fouls against us, so gave them a free kick on average every 4 minutes.
-
Referee was a d*ck, today.
-
Easiest home game since the 3-0 vs Bordeaux for me.
What a performance.
Couldn’t tell you anyone less than 8/10.
-
Dubravka
Trippier Schar Burn Targett
Shelvey Guimaraes Willock
Fraser Wood ASM
Willock grew and grew into the last game, and he needs that license to roam forward more. Tough call leaving Joelinton on the bench, but I think the balance of the team calls for it.
First time in a long time that the team and formation doesn’t pick itself.

No. Subs. Left.

Murphy for Fraser now please.
We've used all our subs.

Willock starting to look more like the Willock of old.

Stonewall. Unbelievable.

Great play by Willock.

Getting torn apart, over and over.
We had an improvement in performances initially with Howe, feels like we're going backwards now.
-
Don't even need to sell him, just terminate the contract and take the hit.

They had a chance to have everything lined up and good to go in January. They should have known how fine the margins were, and from seeing our team, how shattered it was from Bruce.
I'm sure they'll be successful long-term, but they've shot themselves (and us) in the foot, and are about to see a significant devaluation in their team when we go down in May.
