  1. I was handing flyers out (I think that day). Got some absolutely vile abuse outside the ground.
  2. Okay, cool, let's have Gordon break down instead.
  3. Depends. Allows you to push Isak out on the left and rest Gordon, who we're really in dire straits without should he get injured.
  4. Watching it like that, it's outrageous.
  5. Okay, I'll outline it if you're struggling. We're discussing players in the Arsenal v Liverpool match having holes cut in their socks. @OoOGazOoO asked why Arsenal players had holes cut in their socks. I explained the rationale behind it, and highlighted that some Newcastle players do it as well. As demonstrated above, given the context of the thread, I am aware that not only Newcastle players do it. Hopefully this helps.
  6. Yeah, I know. That's why I said do it too.
  7. There's a bit of a trend with players cutting holes in their socks to relieve pressure on the calf muscles if the socks are tight. Bruno and a few of ours do it too.
  8. My understanding is that it would be lost. Whole thing is a farce.
  9. Quite a likeable chap. A rarity for that team.
  10. I don't think they were lazy in any other game this season until today.
  11. Turned it off. Howe isn't under any pressure, but the performance today was as poor as we've seen under him. And he's had more players absent than he's had today for a number of matches where we've performed a lot better. Howe frequently says about how his players give everything. I don't think they did today, and to me that's unacceptable.
  12. Long gone, unfortunately. 7th should be the aim now.
  13. Worst we've been on the pitch since Bruce, unfortunately.
  14. I don't think so. Think the data's purchased by the papers/agencies through Premier Injuries.
  15. Also, this isn't a new thing. Last season was bad, despite not being in European competition.
  16. Which makes a total mockery of why there's so many rounds of matches in December. You squeeze in nonsense international friendlies, then play: 25th November 28th November 2nd December 7th December 10th December 13th December 16th December 19th December 23rd December 26th December Ten fixtures in 31 days is a total joke. I appreciate there's Champions League in that, and we can't buy what we've needed due to FFP, but it's another example of how FFP is designed to keep the proles in their place.
  17. Gotta be honest, I've not been prepared for the amount of football this season. It's been such an emotional rollercoaster with injuries and some great wins, I need more time to recover between matches than one every three or four days. Cannot imagine how the players feel.
