I think his time is coming to an end, sadly. I just want him to go in a way that doesn’t partially tarnish the absolutely incredible things he’s done for this club, and not dragging things out. I wanted him to be the one to guide us to the very top, but I don’t think he’s got the methods or the coaching staff around him to do that unfortunately.

We have no plan in transition. We can barely pass to each other. Performances have been becoming more and more like pre-Howe era. It’s one thing losing to superior players in those 50:50s and fine margins costing you games, it’s another thing not being able to do the baaics. And we aren’t doing the basics.

What he’s always been really good at is using his pace in little bursts. He never seems to bomb down the length of the pitch, but will slow and look lethargic then just drag the ball with him and burst into a sprint. He’s always seemed to be difficult to read for opposition defenders. He’s a much better wide player than central, for me.

I haven't really watched them under Carrick until today. They seem to consistently bail themselves out of poor performances with strikes that presumably have an xG of about 0.01, but perhaps that was mostly under Amorim.

I just don't understand Manchester United at all.

For my money, Drury is the worst human being ever not charged with war crimes or murder.
