  1. I'd say giving him game time before the end of the season is important for him. Waiting all summer only builds the pressure up even more. I'd try to give him as much time as is reasonable if I was Pards.

    absolutely true this

  2. Does anyone else here think that Torres is genuinely s***?  I mean, he's been s*** for a good year now.  Maybe he was just massively overperforming before that?  Just a thought!  :D

Oh, and you two above need to get a grip man, it's an internet forum FFS!

Yes, the 8 years before that of consistently playing very well was just a purple patch.  The last 10 months or so where he's played with bad injury problems and played for a team he didn't wanna be at, that's the true account of his ability.

Hey, he might just be doing an Owen, that's all!

    rectumundo

What's so strange about the idea of him being good and maybe's he's now "shit"? No doubt quality is still there, but its looks like a significant chunk of that quality has waned by his standards. I think he's shit

  4. Wilshere will never be a patch on Xavi.

    1) Wilshere is still a bairn. How you can categorically say that  is beyond me.

    2) Xavi is a special player in his own right. It's not a disgrace if a player like him will only come around once every blue moon.

Point is, Wilshere keeps the ball moving. He's got a vast passing range and a solid engine. He also seems to relish the big game atmosphere. Best player on the park last night by a country mile (taking 90 minutes into account).

  5. Someone point out where I said he was Carroll's 'replacement' please. There is no replacement, that's why we're reduced to such a pathetic signing.

All I pointed out were a manager and striker that are no longer on our books and a manager and striker that are. Facts.

It is sad. Let's see how they fare in the grand scheme of things. If we stay up, major spring cleaning is needed in the summer.

  6. where the hell are some of our youngsters?? Zambrela, this guy, even Donaldson was missing for a huge part of this season for no reason..do we have a secret reserves team that plays somehwere in Mozambique that we don't know about?

Donaldson is on loan at 'Pool is he not?

  7.

What a save by the Valencia keeper just earlier.

BTW, noticed Villa is in the crowd, sat along Juan Mata. Is it just me or is wor Jose sitting right behind him next to David Albelda??

Think you're just paranoid, there's no reason he'd be sitting with them anyway.

Dude, you can't see who is sitting next to Albelda from this photo! I know Enrique is a Valencia fan and hails from there. So was just putting 2+2 together.

  8. Arsene and Arsenal are moaning, whingy bastards and always have been.

It's pathetic, especially after a performance like that. Most managers would be praising our support and bemoaning their teams performance, not harping on about the referee and Joey Barton.

It really is, no humility, can't give credit, can't berate his players reaction which was violent conduct and unacceptable, just pathetic from someone who I want to respect. Even Fergie would have said fair play, he often does and has found humility in his latter years and made him more enduring imo, Wenger though I doubt he'll ever accept anything that goes against him, its just sour grapes.

Sorry but I've never EVER bought into the "Arsenal" brand. Hate their football and hate their manager, and most of their fans that I know are complete and utter gobshite twats. Thoroughly enjoying getting two over them this season.
