Using a football on the first day of pre-season
Don't these knobs know you shouldn't touch a football until at least ten days in?
-
Didn't realise how freakishly tall he was like.
He's not THAT tall is he? 6'2?
-
£12m for Hernandez and £20-25m for Iheanacho are both absolutely amazing value like. Should be in for one, or both really.
Should all over both of them ffs. 45M would get the pair of them I reckon. Just 10 million more than what was paid for Andy Carroll. And Michael Keene
-
Reina is pretty poor now. Hart would be a better option.
He isn't "poor". He's not what he used to be, aye. If the experience and leadership he would bring would allow Rafa to do his job better then I'm all for it.
-
Imagine if we had an ambitious enough owner to go out and spend 50 million to bring in Chicharito and Iheanacho. Would set us right up in attack for the season along with Gayle, Mitro and Perez.

Release the gifs, run the baths, we have a signing.
-
This is his year.
It's his Riviyear.
-
Aye. Looks like he's had enough. Adios Rafaito. Hasta Siempre.

This here, means to me more than anything any two-bob journalist can put out these days. By my reckoning there was some fuck-up somewhere in our transfer plans, and Rafa probably went above Charnley's head to Ashley and demanded it got sorted out. Couple of weeks to boot out Carr and restructure the team, and hopefully now back on track.

Don't like the sound of that at all. Sounds like he has responsibility for everything.
If he's been at the club before, he surely cant be Rafa's choice. Seems like another cheap internal promotion.
Also our recruitment at U21 level has been shockingly s*** for years.
this is a f***ing car crash of a post like, rafa is telling you he's cool in the quotes man, give over
No. Outrage.

FFS, it's elementary.
Academy director?

Is there any reason why Shelvey hasn't been tried playing behind the striker? IIRC in his early days at Liverpool he was always the most advanced midfielder when made his appearances from the bench. Seem to remember him playing a lot further forward than he did for Swansea.

Not sure where those other pics of Alan Brazil are but check the clip of the c*** in this photo, belt undone and everything
What's Kluivert doing there?
Nile Ranger isn't it?

This Rich isn't the old Rich, is it?
Was wondering the same myself...

So when it's negative news it must be real and when it's positive then OMG INFOWARS PROPAGANDA MOTHERFUCKERS!
I f***ing love Newcastle United and I f***ing love Rafa Benitez. It would be beyond my wildest dreams as a supporter if this particular manager made this particular club as successful as possible. What I don't get is the bitching and moaning at each other of people on either side of the "Ashley/media/Rafa unhappy" argument. Is it time to panic? It's almost getting to the time when it's time to panic. Don't panic yet. Too early to panic. Man what the f*** is that?
We can all do the total sum of f*** all to have any influence on our moronic owner, his little minion, or our manager, and the way they all conduct their business.
All this emotional self-entitlement trying to figure out which journalist is lying and which one is telling the truth....f***ing hell
ll
It's the same f***ing s*** every year, and what do we do? We just get on with it and try to make the best of it.

Feel like Ba is underrated among our supporters. He was outrageously good, scoring for fun from absolutely no service. Our best striker since Shearer.
Yeah, I remember at the time people giving him loads of stick. always baffled me.
I think people were on his back when he started moaning about being played out of position, and his performances had dropped as a result. Of course it was entirely down to our genius then manager, but that's besides the point.
He was indeed our most complete striker since Shearer, and if we'd had a manager with a brain, we could have easily sustained a spot in the top 8 with someone like Ba leading the line.
-
Bit of a change in circumstances, mind, buying a midfielder at 28 compared to 31. He's a very fine player and way better than what we have now, obviously.
Aye, and i'm not complaining! If we can get him for 9 million it would be a fucking snip.
-
Just saw him at SJP.
Who did?

FIFA are starting to become like EA are with Fifa and Konami were with Pro Evo.
The new Fifa has a virtual Geoff Shreeves giving updates on binary injuries!!!!...but your goalkeeper will still pass it straight to the opposition striker from a goal kick, just like in the last 8 Fifas.
No rebounds! 30 minute halves!...but diving, corporate areas, agents, owners, ticket prices, and FIFA itself are all still ruining the game for the people who love it.
My sentiments exactly.

GeordieDazzliar more like.
I'm still more reliable that Lee Ryder
To clarify, the day he would sign was a complete guess. The only info I got was that he arrived in Newcastle.
GeordleeRyder

Don't believe for a minute that we've offered £9m for a 31 year old.
Valencia bought him for around 20 odd million. Not sure why they would drop his valuation so much in such a short time.
-
Omg the media only report the truth, ergo this must be the truth! Panic!
-
The Grim Ryder
Soon to be Li-Ryder if the club gets sold..

Getting a bit of tired of 'closing in' on everyone. 'closing in' on Semedo, 'closing in' on Abraham. But where are they?
I close in on birds all the time, but I still go home in a taxi by myself at the end of the night.
epic

The problem I have with Dummett is that he has very few attributes that are needed to play full-back effectively in the PL. Apart from his decent height and left foot, he almost has nothing else to play that position. Very early on when he made his first few appearances, he put in a few crosses and showed some pace down the flank. Hasn't been seen since.
As with everything else, if he's good enough for Rafa, he's good enough for me. I still believe though that his best position is as a left-sided CB.
