If Ashley had shown a bit of backbone and some leadership after Keegan left, the protests would probably have been quelled quite quickly. The silence that followed then that stupid fact statement just inflamed things. Exactly, while I take and understand the point, the reaction came about not only because Keegan left in the circumstances he did, but also because of the silence from the club. Ashley could have come out before the Hull game with a statement in reaction to Keegan leaving. A statement similar to the one he released when selling the club; re-enforcing his vision for the club, but also explaining things like Wise's role in more detail. People wouldn’t have gone as nuclear if this had happened. There was nothing apart from the 'FACT' statement, which had no name to it. It was crazy; anger was allowed to build up during that week because zero leadership was shown by the people at the club. There were allegations of foul play towards a legelnd of the club & during that time there was no communication from anyone at the club. But again, he still had the chance to attempt to sort the managerial side of things as soon as he announced the club was off the market - and when things had died down. Spot on, this was handled so badly by the club, that this sort of reactions had to come... Im sure its a a blame, all assosiated to the club have to take together. But as Mike is the owner, he his the main factor imo....

Yes, if this was normal work, they would have been fired, but since they are overpayd pl players, it doesent fucking matter.. Why could not pl clubs fire players if they play shit, this week Smith earnred twise my yearly income, yet i did a good job, he is shit, how, seriously do you justify that.... -
A shame that he was not cpt all season tbh, Owen have been dodgy... He do not like it here, i do hate him...

Nonsense. He's a twenty two year old man and this is his fourth season of seeing significant action at a high level of football. ITt's poor defending and that's an even poorer excuse. Second that, we cant hide the players behind excuses, they have to stand up and be counted, everyone of them.. He is 22 fss, he f***ed up, having sayed that, by far our best player, shame he's off after the season... I think...

Just got back from the match, and on all fairness, dont blame the ref or fans! The whole season we have been crap, no f***ing movement, f***ing slowmotion shitface c*** attacking footbal. Dont matter what league we are in next season, we need change... I love the city, love the club, but f***ing hate the emotional rollercoster! Lets get wasted! -

Maybe, the thing is that there are no cheap direct flight to Newcastle. But to london its madness, i pay £19,9+tax/duty to london, and £5,9+tax/duty back to Oslo, crazy... The flight back and fort from Stansted to Newcastle is £300 for both me and my friend, but it worth it imo, since this is not a everyweek thing for us... (Train was exspensive in UK, almost same prices as in Norway me thinks) -

EDIT: Easyjet will fly us from Stansted to Newcastle and back on sunday, cheaper than train, and and aloooot faster! Hope you're all booked up. Ai, all booked and ready Arriving in Newcastle around 2000 tomorrow, time to hit town Long time since i been there now, any recomendations on a friday night? (not trance&rap please, rock and roll baby ) Its alittle surreal, we talked on wednesday about what to do this weekend, me and my mate was alittle unsure what party we should go to and all. As others have helped me i'll gladly reciprocate: 1) no real cheap options. £100 rail fare. Bus might be available and worth checking, but would take a LONG time 2) Premier Inn quayside is a great location, £70 a night (for twin room, so £35 each if you don't mind sharing) 3) I'd avoid 1892 / any of the corporate seats. More expensive and any time i've been there i get told off for swearing / being too loud(!). From what the guys were saying earlier, Level 7 SJH has a good atmos and there was 1 block with a load of tickets still available. 4) I've just ordered tickets and would imagine it will be box office pick up. I'm sure credit card should suffice. Thanks both of you. The only avalible is milburn stand, lvl 7, I thing i rather go for that, than the black and white bar... Are there any express busses from london to Newcastle? If so, is that cheaper than train? Im just afraid we get stuck in london over night, and that is not what i want, i want to get to Newcastle at night, and take a beer... Hope everything turns out for us -

Me and a friend is most likely going over from Norway this weekend. But i have some questions. The other times i have gone, i gone direct to Newcastle. (pre aranged fotball trips) This time, we going to London, arrives friday 1930 local time. Do anyone have some tips how to get easy and cheap to Newcastle,on friday night..(I dont find any good rail options) We plan to stay as cheap as possible in the city, any recommended places? Also, is the how is the seating on Milburn stand, black and white bar, is the atmosphere any good? Or are bar 1882 better, near sir john hall west corner? Few other places we can get next to eachother now... If i order at box office now, is it enough to bring ID, creditcard and booking confirmation to get the tickest at st.james` park? Thanks for all replys -

Havent looked like it lately, we dont have any goal threats atm... No use to try play him 90 min, he always looks more dangerous when he is used as a impact sub anyways.
