Tried with another advisor, saying that others have been given a free bet to compensate for missing out on their desired in-play bet. Don't think the advisor bought it. After 10 minutes back and forth... "Please close my account". 30 seconds later. "We can credit your account with a free bet." Is it a) good customer service or b) good business, knowing they'll probably not need to pay out?

Having a wee chat now. "Unfortunately, we did experience technical problems which effected customers placing bets, unfortunately, if your free bet has already been refunded, there is nothing further we can offer."

To make it clear, my original bet won (because I went for something ultra-safe to ensure I wouldn't be down (>0.5 goals)). Might still try some sort of attempt to wangle some money out of them, I know it's not exactly convincing but still annoying as I was about to place a bet on Real, until I obviously couldn't due to their own site issues. Or are you saying you're essentially now £25 up from bet365 tonight? Sorry, it's late. (as an excuse to use that smiley)

Guess it's good of them to do something for those who couldn't get their in-play bet on, but that's ridiculously poor form still re: their site. Was thinking I'd go for Real to win, tried getting on in the 1st half, site wouldn't load. Ended up at HT going for the draw. Ah well.

Braces/hattricks would be brilliant as well for a nice "collection" of goals, maybe all in 1 spread so to speak. Asprilla's 3 for you vs Barca, the 5 in the Man Utd 5-0. Hurst 1966 for example would IMO be great. Perhaps even in black and white if possible, to further 'capture the moment'? Think you've got a lot of potential going here.

TBF, the red card was shambles and they were close to scoring plenty of times. Confidence can't be high when everything seems to be going against you. First 10 minutes afterwards they wilted, yeah. But I thought they give a really good account of themselves after that. They had 2 or 3 very decent chances to score, Rooney in particular.

So, I guess that wrongly disallowed goal in the 1st half has been completely forgotten about?

Ended up about £50 up with Real 2-1 and an in-play bet on Real winning straight after the red. However, could have been great if it was 2-2 (would've won a fair bit more with the draw). RVP FGS and a Champ accy didn't come off.

I don't like or respect Roy Keane, but I hope he just knocks this lot out, live on air.
