Gatts for me like.
Can't count out the possibility of Man City and Man Utd both winning next weekend but the latter sticking 5 or 6 past Swansea and dramatically narrowing the goal difference.
I look at the odds, I think, Kompany to score first @ 40/1, that's great value. Could be a tight game, corner to open it up. But I decided against it, because that would be the greedy thing to do. Instead went for Aguero.
Fuck being sensible.
And they've done really well against the better teams away this season apparently.
"None of the top five have won there if you take away Newcastle"
We're fourth in the league if you take away Tottenham.
"If we didn't lose this game and had have held on here...."
Lawro doing his worst to hide it too
"Look, right, we're not saying Harry should definitely get the job, we just thought Harry was going to get it. Harry might be disappointed, Roy will obviously take it. Roy should do what Harry was going to. Harry."
Don't the press and the majority of football fans (the likes that don't use forums) already hold opposing views?
Roy has a lot of work to do - both on and off the television.
I think generally there's a lot of apathy about the England team at the moment - people will watch the game on TV, get behind them for a World Cup/Euros but show a high level of indifference because 'well we're always shit when it counts'.
Nail on head.
I'll cheer them on as much as the next person in the summer but can I say I'm really proud of the national team? Not really, no. Just so many loathsome characters.
