  1. Rooney's diagonal cross field balls really annoy me. He does them all the time and often they get cut out, but yet is praised for attempting them. I'd be pissed off if my player kept doing that.
  2. What did the commentators say? I'm guessing "well, there wasn't much contact"? Depressing how more of the "top" pundits don't call people up on this more. English players easily get away with it more. Or maybe they spouted drivel like "well, referees have a tough job"? Boo fucking hoo, millions of people have tough jobs and they get bollocked if they do their job wrong.

[Cattermole and Colback] - surely should be the centre mid partnership next season, colback getting better every game and cattermole on top form runs games, new right winger with a bit of pace, kightly possibly and we will have decent midfield with mcclean on left Read more: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=691857#ixzz1s7ZINeuG --------------------------------------------------------------- Quite a staggering statement. Sums up why clubs like Sunderland will be mediocre for a long, long time. They actually think a first-time midfield with Cattermole, Colback and Kightly is going to bring them success. Imbeciles.

To me, it points to the inherent complexities of heart conditions, how some things simply can't be picked up and the overall fragility of life. I'm all for thorough and rigorous checkups as regularly as possible, but my understanding is even then, it doesn't mean something like this won't, occasionally, tragically happen. 25. Scarily young age to die, horrible. RIP.
  5. Probably would have. Doesn't excuse Moyes' tactics.

The main problem with the Sunderland squad, and this has been the case my entire life to varying degrees, is that it's full to the brim with average shite. Take out Lee Cattermole, bring in Craig Gardner. Take out Wes Brown, bring in Michael Turner. Take out Kieran Richardson, bring in Wayne fucking Bridge. Until they actually decide to start buying good players and not a plethora of different shades of shit, they won't go anywhere. Of course, the problem with that is, which quality players will come to Sunderland, let alone stay there for a few years?
  7. No real complaints about yesterday. As soon as we scored, it went exactly how I expected it to do. Sitting preposterously deep from half an hour in ffs, no wonder Liverpool gathered more and more momentum. Moyes bottled it. Again.
  8. I've got to give a special well done to Lyon and Marseille, who've just served up one of the worst games of "football" I've ever had the misfortune of sitting through. I thought, wait, I'll watch something a bit different, don't usually watch French football. Never again.
  9. Del Piero was a fucking glorious player.
  10. Gibson to score from outside the box - 22/1 Baines 1-0 - 100/1
  11. Fuck's sake, I immediately thought of Magikarp as well.
  12. Is that who Bendtner evolves into?

    La Liga

I thought he'd just stop after describing it as a wet dream. But no, he quantified it by saying it was of "orgasmic proportions." ffs.

There's favouritism but Raaaaayne Wooooooney is on a different level.
  16. Having a very similar mentality on Saturday. Putting a bit of money on Liverpool to qualify. Tbf, we're serial bottlers against those cunts. But if I lose money then ho hum.

What's the official tally on Sessegnon/Ben Arfa's goals and assists? Of course, the latter has been on the pitch much less this season but that doesn't seem to come into the equation for some reason. Wonder how Paxton will explain it if Ben Arfa ends up with more goals/assists.
  18. By who?! Clint Dempsey's momma!? http://i764.photobucket.com/albums/xx284/TheWacoKidd/bush_he_mad.png
  19. And they've seemingly revived Shaun Maloney. Hell, even Franco Di Santo looked OK Much like Inzaghi was born offside, I'm fairly sure Di Santo must have been deflected into the world.
