  1. They've produced more outstanding performances away from home but they're just as likely to win at home.
  2. To summarise, I thought you were lucky today to win but it doesn't excuse some fucking woeful "attacking" in the 2nd half. Saha was particularly abhorrent. Gosling When I saw it from the normal camera angle I thought "hang on, isn't that a hand?" Then I saw it was a clear handball and it was Dan fucking Gosling. Fucker.

  4. Doesn't excuse the fact we exhibited our usual "let's get the possession stats up but do fuck all" 2nd half performance. Absolutely shite. Also doesn't surprise me an idiotic piece of defending and a wonder goal won the game. When you're on a roll, things like that go for you, simple as that really.
  5. It was one of the clearest penalties I've seen this season. Standard for our usual luck.
  6. I should point out I don't think we've been brilliant - not by any stretch of the imagination. We could easily concede a couple more.
  7. WHAT?! What's to argue about? You can't tell me you were better than us that half. It's been as even a half of football as I can remember this season.
  8. What do you make of the first half? Very even. I don't think we deserve to be behind really, but then idiotic defending from Heitinga was hardly unpredictable as I said. That and a wonder goal have been the only 2 real incidents at our end, and we've been punished both times. We've had quite a few situations (mainly around the middle of the half) but displayed our brand not shit finishing. Doubt we'll not concede again but I'd have to fancy our chances of getting something with Cabaye out.
  9. Stick a chair on the left wing and it would have Hibbert distressed.
  10. Neville, Distin and Cahill all doubtful according to the website. The first would be a minor blow, the second would be a bigger blow, the third isn't a blow at all on current form. If I was Pardew, I would be telling Cabaye and Tiote/Guthrie to pressurise Rodwell immediately. For some reason, the lad just doesn't look that confident. When he has time, he can showcase his technique and spray the ball about. However when he's closed down quickly, he very often makes a bit of a mess of it and lacks composure when pressed. This may come in time but he's had a lot of matches now so I would start having slight doubts about whether he really will make it. As I said at the start of the season, this year is big for him. There have been signs of improvement but as I say, for a young lad with the world potentially at his feet, he bizarrely seems to lack confidence. I'd expect Jonas to start from the right to combat Baines and Drenthe. However, don't rule out Moyes doing a Moyes and starting Osman from the left and leaving Drenthe on the bench. Watch out for Heitinga delivering a MOTM performance for yous. 1-1/close win for you. Can't see us winning, which means we'll win. But now I've said that, we'll lose.
  11. Man Utd result will be raking it in for them if it stays 1-0. They priced the home win up very short and people went hunting for 'value' on the handicaps. I have them -1 and -2, they're not going to score another The annoying thing is they're not going to concede either so that Galati get a shock point.
  12. Another reason to be pissed off if I don't win is how many results are very predictable tonight. Bookies will be having a bad night barring anything really dramatic happening.
  13. The other 3 teams I have are all comfortably winning. Man Utd of all teams to let me down against Otelul fucking Galati at home? That would be pretty damn annoying. Can only hope Galati get a bit tired which is clutching at straws, I know.
  14. ffs Man Utd. Hurry the fuck up and score a couple of goals. Have Man Utd to score over 2.5 goals, Inter DNB, Ajax, Man City.
  15. I know he's class, but I don't believe he's racked up 66 goals quite just yet.
  16. He's played his fair share. Far too much for my liking. About 100% too much, actually. He's tripe, like. I've long since given up on him as a footballing entity. I did defend him briefly last season as I think I've already mentioned on here, and then in our next game he promptly miskicked the ball into his own net.

  18. Really can't tell hence I'll go for the default draw. We're just as likely to win as we are to bend over. I do like the look of Baines and Drenthe against your right side. As for the other side, you could play Smith on the left wing and Hibbert would look flustered.

    Sunderland...

You're not in a great league position, just a high position.
