  1. Taking inspiration from England and a Mr L Best's clinical streak.
  2. Bye bye Schteve. Forest 4-0 down.
  3. Barry AGAIN fucking up. Mancini deserves exactly what he's got for playing that lump of shit.
  4. Seriously man, look at the scores so far. The bookies are going to get rinsed if it stays the same, and there's me, going "Yeah, let's put Derby on because I'm a clever twat."
  5. Unlucky from Hart - brilliant save from the follow up but Gomez was there.
  6. Oh, look. Barry fucking up, shock. Should have been Bayern 1-0. Awful miss.
  7. Absolute quality as well. Cracking finisher.
  8. Anyone else get the feeling their bets have started a bit too well? Think Derby might well screw me.
  9. Would put Aguero ahead of him, but aye, Cavani's a beast. I didn't really think about it in detail, just a general comment about Cavani's awesomeness. Doesn't get enough credit in this country but then again, he isn't Ronaldo or Messi and doesn't play in this league.
  10. Honestly, behind Ronaldo and Messi, Cavani is form-wise arguably the best of the rest in terms of top-class forwards. Sensational last year and started this year like a maniac.
  11. Wycombe 2-2 Preston after 14 minutes.
  12. Really like the look of Man City drawing @ 3/1. Seems generous. Anyway, Real Madrid -1, Man Utd -1, Napoli DNB, Derby DNB. And a full £1 on Bayern-MC draw, Brighton, West Ham, Benfica, Lyon.
  13. This bonus points system is on acid. Silva was clearly the best player against us, but he got nothing while Milner, for scoring a simple goal after coming on late, got 3 bonus points. Right.

    Sunderland...

Even when week after week they deliver a shite performance and don't win, they absolutely will not accept that Newcastle are getting better results because you have a better team with better players. There's no red and white tint to the glasses they wear - it appears they've resorted to buying red and white striped blindfolds and pretending they're not a poor side.
  15. Ah, just realised there are a lot of games tonight. Chances of losing money: increased.
  16. Do do do do doooo do do do dooo, do do dooo, caught in a bad gateway.

Nah I disagree, too often a player is impeded but because he doesn't hit the deck, nothing is given. I don't like the idea of the player almost trying to do the referee's job for him, by tumbling to the floor. I can see why players do it sometimes - for the benefit of their team - but I don't like that attitude one bit. I'd much rather the overwhelming mentality be "I'm going to stay on my feet here unless I really can't." Yes, sometimes you won't get a free kick/penalty, but I'd much rather that than players going to ground at the slightest contact. It's not really a black and white issue - granted - but, going back to my previous comment, it's fuelled by this sense of achievement - often coming from commentators/pundits, i.e. the media, that if you don't go over in the area when there hasn't actually been sufficient contact to warrant you going to ground, you've done really well. It just doesn't sit well with me, personally.

On a related note - and I think it's been mentioned on here before - when commentators/pundits applaud someone for staying on their feet. Essentially congratulating a player for, er, not cheating? Very well done for not trying to con the referee, here's a medal.
