That's canny fluky like.

That's some feat. Aye. 18 on that list.

He's a very tidy player, yes, and didn't get the headlines Adam did, but he's not the sort of player who is going to help Sunderland really progress. Along with nearly all of Bruce's signings.
-
Amount of money as well as time. Short has released plenty of funds for Bruce to play with and what does he buy? Mediocrity. Surprisingly, that will result in a mediocre season.
-
A year away from Chelsea in a domestic cup competition was obviously too much to ask for.

Better week. All my players have played and have 44 points, however Silva's points will be doubled (VC due to Rooney not playing), and I'm expecting some bonus points for my players. Although knowing Fantasy's bonus points decision so far this season, I shouldn't be too hopeful.

Do they not realise he obviously wanted to be anywhere other than Sunderland, and when a cash-rich club offered huge personal terms, there was no way he was going to reject it?
-
You'll win by a single goal I reckon.

A man can dream. I don't actually expect us to go there and win, let me make this perfectly clear. I'm just feeling confident more in a "no real pressure on us" sense, and we've gone there and won on multiple occasions when we were expected to be defeated easily. I'm probably just giddy we've accumulated 7 points from 4 games - usually have to wait to late October to have that many points. My prematch views and predictions are fucking wank though so I therefore expect a comfortable victory for you lot. Early goal for them and yeah it'll be a long, long afternoon for us. Love watching Silva and Aguero but a, er, rugged challenge or 2 early on wouldn't be an awful thing. Or, they'll get pissed off by that and tear us a new one.

Get in there. Just casting my mind back to last year. Man City unbeaten at home, we're in awful form. 2-0 up in 20 minutes. We even went down to 10 men and we still won. You have been warned, Dinho!
-
CoM. Won our last 4 there, usually when we weren't expected to.
-
I'm starting to feel strangely confident about tomorrow. Possibly because of our excellent record against Man City, or the fact we'll have pretty much no pressure on us and they'll be expected to go and win the game comfortably. We'll see. And yes, I know they have the ability to brutally penetrate us but you never know.

He said to me he couldn't be arsed about Newcastle and "modern football" anymore. Every other update I see on Facebook from him is him talking about NUFC and football. I guess it was just this forum. Will try to get him along to the October get together.

mattis "doesn't have the time" to post... yet still continuously lurks. Think KI's doing some cool shit somewhere.
-
You reading my mind? Was thinking that not half an hour ago. Enjoyed his posts.
-
Already got him.
-
My main dilemma currently is whether to stick with Suarez. I dunno, I just think he's got too much quality not to start scoring plenty of points... but Adebayor is about 1.5 cheaper.
-
Word of warning: we've won 7 of our last 8 against Man City, including the last 4 in a row at their stadium. That said, I'd be very surprised if we got owt tomorrow.

Makes Betis' promotion and great start to this season all the more remarkable.
-
Nice changing of the subject, but it's good to know even a Liverpool supporter knows he's a twat.
-
A personal thing? A personal thing he openly talked about in public? He's a twat, plain and simple.
