Basically, would anyone be interested in a game before Christmas? Nope, don't have a clue on any sort of date, if there'd be enough room to do this (considering NOFC commitments), or if there'd even be a suitable date (co-inciding with a NUFC game?), but just purely wondering if people would be interested in a game. 'Before Christmas' is not essential, but just an idea. If there are enough people interested, a particular date can be considered. Hopefully if a date can be agreed, it won't just fall apart. So, any takers? And if so, what sort of period is best? The new year instead of December? Cheers.

I really rate Huddlestone. That said I don't watch him for 90 minutes. But his passing and work with the ball is usually excellent.

Add Van Persie into the equation and I'd probably agree with you Hmm, I guess so. (Trying to avoid this going down the Drogba-Rooney-Torres debate from a few days ago. ) But yeah, RVP > Saha. :thdn: Just don't see Saha as a better all-round striker than RVP. Granted, this is probably because he plays in a team that are far better. I would however have a fully fit Saha over Bent, Anelka etc.

One of the best strikers in the league without doubt when fit IMO. Only 3 I'd solidly have ahead of him is Drogba, Torres and Rooney.

Cracking finish from Hibbert tbh. Beat the keeper to it and smashed it into the roof of the net. And yes, I realise we didn't deserve to win this game, but fuck it, a bit of rare fortune is very welcome.

I like the fact he's been designated the role of 'Crazy Man'.
-
Tony Hibbert is playing the same sport as Fabregas, Xavi and Messi, apparently. But gtfi, a win!
-
Clearly going to end 1-0 Charlton.
-
Btw, is anyone actually putting themselves through Hull v Stoke? That said - I'd laugh if it ended 3-3, and the Chelsea game produced minimal excitement.

There'll be hell on if he slips on a stray twig.

When the plucky underdog gets absolutely arseholed.

Wasn't that like only 2 weeks ago? I believe so. Hence why I don't know what he's whining about.
-
I just want players to do FIFA celebrations. (Has anyone ever done that weird sort of thrusting celebration with their arms in real life?)

I believe Stelling said on air he didn't intend to call it anything other than SJP.

The guy's just playing the victim. Bent blatantly dived but moron Bruce is talking about it being a red card for Gomes. Sunderland were better than us today for sure but they didn't really create that many clear cut chances. The only thing he should be moaning about is his own players inability to finish their chances (which was the pen and a Richardson chance) I also don't get why he's moaning about the West Ham game. They probably shaded that game but what is there to moan about if your players are missing chances? I think the first incident was a penalty, so perhaps the ref was looking to even it up (no doubt Bent dived for the actual pen.) That said, it never mattered since he missed. And nope, never a red card. Genuinely confused by what he's on about. Cattermole getting an injury? Oh no! One injury! Perhaps he should be more grateful for victories against Blackburn and Wolves that were barely deserved (especially the Blackburn game.) Sunderland have been impressive on a couple of occasions (against Man Utd in particular), but have looked as inconsistent as ever, playing awfully at Burnley and Birmingham for example. Spurs have had an edgy period over the past few games... has anything been different since your initially excellent form?
-
Btw, what's all this bad luck Steve Bruce was moaning about? ("No luck since the beachball incident")

I've said this 10000 times on here, and 9999 times when he was still playing for us - Dave, please interject here and confirm this, lest anyone say it is sour grapes - but Barry is not the player you see turning out for England. He goes missing for massive great chunks of the season. He's doing the same for City he did for us. Am I the only one who thinks he's pretty average for England as well?
-
Only 101 out with my prediction.
-
And replacing Pedro who has already stuck 2 past Mallorca, is some bloke called Lionel.
-
Well it would be when they had it perfect last season, and now its not. Results are results obviously, but they're not as good as last year, and Real have improved drastically. Really? I haven't seen a drastic improvement.

Such is the expectation created last season.

if if could decide then yes, HELL YEAH Antonio Conte is Atalanta manager? Is he the same Conte I remember being a lynchpin in my CM 99/00 Juve career?

Grenoble have their first point!
