There's a reason I think 'This is going well, too well...' when I'm cruising on the betting front. Man United can smoke my fat one. -

Might stick a tenner of Munich to win the CL when I get paid. a decent dark horse bet. -
...and Obertan some courage, maybe a heart for Guthrie too.

Going to stick my usual three day bet on in a bit. -
Our local in Darlington has neglected Sunderland and Newcastle in order to televise Man United's inevitable thumping of Norwich, cunts.

People are getting a bit carried away like, as good a start as we have had. It's nice to see a bit of optimism following the excessive amount of negativity around the place following the transfer window but it's very early days. We have no idea how Santon is going do, Gosling has it all to prove, Obertan has looked far from great while, below Ba and Best we have little depth in terms of quality in the striking department. I'm loving the start we've made and will fully enjoy it while it lasts but to say I wouldn't chage any of our personnel for people associated with the club in the past is a bit far.
-
Aye, Chris Mort was a massive improvement on Dekka like. I'd of also have prefered to hold on to Enrique, even if we did sign Santon.
-
Unsure what you're getting at but we're a centre back and striker short. It will almost certainly come back to bite us later in the season.
-
I'd gladly have him here for the rest of his career, but we all know his legs will drop off at thirty though so best not offer him a new contract.
-
s*** like this does my head in. Keep faith with a player who does fuk all for several games in a row, swap him out and a sterling performance comes up. Even worse when you transfer out and you lose money. Aye. doing alright but fancied getting rid of a bit of deadwood who had done nothing of note for five weeks, turns out their replacements have done nothing since coming in while they (Senderos a clean sheet, Ramires a brace, Dempsey an assist) have had a good week.

Takes Ramires out, Ramires scores a brace. Standard.

Watched a bit of Sunderland this season, just a couple of thoughts on some of their players: Simon Mignolet - There's a good young keeper in there somewhere but he's clearly lacking confidence at the moment. A good shot stopper for the most part but that's the easiest part of the game, his kciking and positioning are major concerns at the moment. Wes Brown It's strange because my mackem mates rate him yet I don't. Very clumsy and tends to give a way numerous needless freekicks around the area. Solid for the most part but tends to switch off resulting careless errors. Craig Gardner - So so average. Average passing range, limited ability, doesn't impose himself on games. David Vaughn - Looks decent to me. Nothing spectacular but keeps things ticking over nicely and rarely gives away the ball. Decent buisness on a free. Seb Larsson - Pretty much what I suspected. No pace, can't beat a man but can still strike a ball. Very good delivery if given time and space. 'Elmo' - Crap, a one trick pony who usually attempts to boot the ball miles in front of him and attempts to out pace the full back. If it works his delivery is hit and miss to say the very least. Stephen Sessagnon - All fart and no s***. The lad clearly has ability and always looks a threat. However when it comes to producing the killer ball/finish he flatters to deceive. Nicklas Bendtner - Feel a bit sorry for him, links up well generally but he constantly has to drop deep to recieve the ball completely nullifying his superior attributes.
-
Yep, said the same following the Fulham match.
-
That's part of the problem, there's no reward for honesty. A player can get fouled in the area but if he doesn't hit the deck the ref won't call it. I watched a Championship match last year, it might of been Bristol City, where a lad was slide tackled from the side, the defender getting no where near the ball yet he stayed on his feet and got the shot away. Had he gone to ground I have no doubt the ref would of pointed to the spot. I like it when a player stays on his feet but there is little reward for doing so, yet the cheat who goes down under a light wind is rewarded almost every time. The whole thing is backwards.

On what planet is that a penalty?
-
Should of known, top finish from Richard 'fox in the box' Dunne. In fact it's the ninth of his Premier League career.
