  1. Although this particular claim is false, he's blatantly paid by agents to stick players in the shop window.
  2. Good stuff, not been to Katowice, any good? It got a bit rowdy with Poland and Ukraine qualifying.
  3. Wroclaw. Well worth a visit if you haven't been, here and Gdansk are probably my favourite Polish cities.
  4. Over in Poland at the minute. It's tense amongst the locals, but it's enough to send you to sleep.

When Southgate first came on the scene the side wasn't really that good. This was a side with the likes of Lingard, Alli and Young in it, with Jones, Dier, Delph, Rose and Welbeck sat on thd bench. Hence why he did a good job. It'd only really recently that we've come into a dearth of talent and no longer seem to know what our best eleven is.

On the whole, international football is generally a dull watch. It's usually the drama of knockout football that it makes it interesting.
  7. Guardiola most be absolutely buzzing with this international break.
  8. Totally unsurprising, it was only a few days ago this very forum that Howe was taking pelters for a yet to be determined Gordon injury. Hence the flippancy.
  9. A back injury? On international duty? Surely Howe is in the firing line for this?
  10. Third back injury of the season (within the squad) is mad like.
  11. That geezer who gets the team news saying it's Miley.
  12. Oh, it's over this? Actually found the bit about his fitness more interesting. Responding to the transfer rumours while speaking to Swedish outlet Expressen, the attacker said: “It doesn’t affect me that much. It has been talked about many times, in many windows. “I see it as just such a thing. Everyone knows that summer is coming and if things show up, things can happen, but I actually haven’t even thought about it.” There had been reports that Newcastle were considering summer surgery on Isak’s groin injury that has caused him to miss eight games across two setback stints this season, something that could put off potential transfer suitors. However, Isak was quick to shut down the speculation. “It was a strange rumour, actually,” said the 24-year-old, who is contracted at St James’ Park until 2028. “I don't remember who it came from, but there was no person trustworthy enough to say such a thing. So, that's not true.” Isak, who is working with a personal trainer to alleviate such injury risks, says he feels “unlucky” with his setbacks and the subsequent game-load he has had to take on amid Newcastle’s stretched squad amid frequent setbacks. He added: “It has been hard, actually. Precisely because it has been difficult to get into one's flow. Or when you have just done it, you have had a setback. It's almost a little nicer to know that you're gone for a longer time than to have these little bumps. “Then our situation in the team hasn't helped either, the availability of players. At some point I've come back from an injury and had to play three games in one week. It's not optimal either. At the same time, we have had important matches and an important season.”
  13. Is this the Football Insider article stating that Arsenal have him on a shortlist?
  14. Aye, so most of the candidates mentioned have a record of picking up players on the cheap and shifting them for good money.
  15. It definitely seems we're going for someone who is more skilled in the transfer market, above anything else.
  16. I'd like to pull Ana De Armas but physical appearance restrictions could prevent me.

Edit: not sure why that came out like I was wrestling my phone off the dog. Not even sure what it was meant to say. Anyway, apparently Saka is carrying a knock and has been playing with pain killing injections for a while.
