It's only a matter of time before one of those pearlers hits the back of the net, very unlucky today. -
Aye but it was so blatently obvious Cabaye was the best player on the park, they can't fuck this one up shirley? Him and Given are certs for bonus points like.
-
Can't knock the lads record but I wish he'd learn to watch the fucking line.

Krul 6 - Not a great deal to do, didn't cover himself in glory for the goal mind. His punching was decent and his kicking was much improved too. Simpson 5 - Caught out of position far too many times for my liking. A shame really given he was much better going forward. Coloccini 6 - Classy performance but you can't get away from the fact he was at fault for the goal, caught wrong side. Taylor 7 - Solid, made one cock up but promptly made up for it. Taylor 6 - Not a fan but didn't think he did too badly today. Obertan 5 - I know he linked up well at times but it just doesn't cut it for me. Rarely beat Warnock, reluctant to whip a cross in and too wasteful in possession. He needs to be dropped for Marveaux who looked a class above when he came on. Cabaye 9 - Absolutely ran the show, only the woodwork and Given prevented him from getting on the scoresheet with two sensational strikes too. Classy. Tiote 7 - Much improved today, starting to look like the player we know and love again. Jonas 6 - Textbook Jonas really. Grafted, ran at players but his delivery was poor at times. Ba 7 - Linked up superbly with the midfield and provided some much needed pace and power up front. Having said that he didn't seem to get into too many goal scoring positions. Good performance none the less. Best 7 - Didn't play amazingly well but grabbed the all important goal. Looks a real fox in the box, can't help feel he would be better still if he learnt to watch the line. Shola 6 - Some decent touches and helped in retaining possession. Nothing major to grumble about.

Bloody awful day, three players on the bench with clean sheets too. On the upside Cabaye will get bonus points.

World class performance today. -
No Marveaux, shame.

Used my wild card to shift a bit of deadwood out, 6th at the minute but don't want to rest on my laurels. Out: Senderos Ramires Dempsey Graham In: Stevie Taylor Cabaye Jarvis Odemwinge

Overreacting a bit?

Really? I've still got the early season buzz.

I think a lot rides on our system. If we stick with the same crap we started at QPR we could be in trouble, however if we stick the extra man in midfield and plug the gap between the midfield and attack we might get somewhere. It might actually encourage us to keep it on the deck too.

Low scoring game, one goal will settle it.

Lazio and Kiev can fuck right off. Absolutely luckless at the moment. -

Lazio PSG Rubin Kazan Braga Athletico Madrid Alos banking on Dinamo Kiev, Rubin Kazan and Athletico Madrid for about eighty quid for my three day rolling bet. -
You must be pleased.

Remember how Enrique and Jonas used to combine to give us a pass and move left flank. Have you noticed any difference since Ryan Dropkick Taylor took Jose's role? I'm not disputing that.

Yeah, not usual for Pardew to initially play down the injuries and then reveal the truth. Alright mate you're right, he's going to be our for f***ing months. Better? Not really. If we're "knee-jerking", then we're only knee-jerking at our luck.... not at Pardew or the player, because it would be unlikely that this is their fault. (Well, except for not having a good LB back-up. In truth, we needed 2 LBs when Enrique left.) True, I just think it's premature to be talking about months on the sidelines when we know zip about the injury.

Left backs don't win and lose games as such, but his presence doesn't aid our chances.

We only have what Pardew said, sounds precautionary. Don't let that get in the way of a good knee-jerk reaction though lads.
