For me at least, Arsenal's priorities should be a keeper, a centre back, a left back and a striker to cover Van Persie's annual break down. The midfield still looks pretty damn strong.

No chance. Anyone who's seen him play knows that he's a top 'keeper who would have eventually signed for Barca or Real if he stayed in Spain. Has shown a tendency for lying on the ground and watching footballs roll past him. My prediction ... he will be enjoying the Spanish sun with Xisco, on loan at Deportivo next season. Clearly never seen him play before then. It's a test of his mental strength more than his ability. A cracking keeper suffering from confidence issues if you like.

They need to stick with him, he's young and quite clearly short on confidence. Cracking keeper but needs a bit of time to settle down.

Gervinho went past Taylor for fun in the first half. I'm not blaming him, it was just down to the gulf in class between the two. Simpson dealt with him well when he switched wings by backing off and not committing to the challange.

In what is a better team, he'll also have a lot more room, with the focus more likely to be on the likes of Rooney, Hernandez, Nani et al. Think Young might just end up with better stats at the end of the day Nani is also prone to getting into Ferguson's dog house, and so is more likely to be rotated with Valencia than Young is. Oh I accept he's a good play, but he's a cheat and a twat to boot. Like Nani really.

Otter, I think what we saw yesterday was largely due to a crappy pre-season. We sold Enrique without a replacment, said to be coming in this week. This meant we were vulnarable at left back and Jonas has developed no understanding with said left back yet. It's the first time Tiote and Cabaye have played together in the middle of the park meanning they're no where near close to developing an understanding, hence both constantly dropping deep.. As well as this Ba looked completely short of match practice. This led to a dis-jointed display where we struggled to link up particularly well. I think we'll improve given time but it just goes to show how important game time is in pre-season.

In that case my bottom dollar is going on Chelsea DNB.
