Iwobi has put Everton in trouble on a few occasions, he thinks he's better than he is
-
That's never a penalty, move on
-
Once Dyche was appointed I was convinced they'll stay up
So I'd rather see Arteta upset
-
Everton take the lead, Tarkowski
-
Another good chance for Everton at the end of the first half
Everton have had the much better chances

Had a feeling Everton would win this earlier and feel that they will even more so now. Arsenal shite so far.
They've done well so far but they'll run out of steam soon and Arsenal will dominate the game
-
Everton should have taken the lead, 2 good chances back to back
-
Actually, had a lot more time to finish it, should have scored really
-
Almost a canny goal by Fofana
-
A midfield trio of Palhinha, Joelinton and Bruno would be delightful
-
Enzo Fernandez is quality and will be brilliant for Chelsea
A lot of money but it will look like hood value in a few years
-
Badiashile looks solid, obviously delighted with Botman but can see why we were looking at him as an alternative last January

Fergie was furious with him for that.
We ended up losing the title by a point that season. The Solskjaer tackle was my 9th birthday.
Don't believe that for a single second

That is my only fear. Man U players will be more used to the big occasion, compared to our lot.
A couple of World Cup winners and multiple CL winners (as well a few other trophies) is why I think they'll have the slight edge

Actually, just read that it's a young keeper George Shelvey that's on the bench
Confusion over
-
How is Shelvey on the bench if he's cup tied?
-
Blatant red card but it wasn't malicious or high
Just frustrating that we didn't have the same VAR officials as the one that deemed a far worse tackle, which was malicious as just a yellow card a few days earlier
-
Absolutely chuffed for him, was a massive critic of his last season, didn't think he could offer us much but glad to have been wrong
This season he's been brilliant and the only issue has been his finishing, he kept on getting himself in great positions and it's good that he managed to score
I'm just gutted that left footed attempt didn't go in, would have been a great goal
-
I'd be happy with Gallagher, think he's another one who has the attributes that Howe would love

With Pope and our back four you'd think it'd be impossible to balls this up.
Southampton will come at as early imo and leave gaps for us to penetrate. Just hope the finishing is better than last Tuesday.
I actually don't think Southampton will come at us early, think they'll actually look to defend and defend deep at the start of the game
They'll know we will be looking to start fast and the aim will be to nullify that
And deeper into the game they will start to push on

Has there been any mention of a fee? I remember reading yesterday it was meant to be pittance, which I'd understand tbf given he only really had 6 months and he was clearly wanting the move.
Not an exact amount but reporters saying it's nominal, as expected really

Superb goal by Simeone, Napoli in the lead

Would it not be viewed as 18 months given the option to extend?
That's a fair point, the trigger is apparently 2 more games and we could easily do that
Still, I feel they hold all the aces as they could get a midfielder elsewhere whereas by extending we are stuck with his wages

We don't trust Ando anymore? When did this come in?
Since he's mostly wrong and very vague as well

Arsenal have had way more of the ball but Everton have had the better chances
