Actually, thinking about it I think Ashworth spoke about it in public on purpose. This will either do one of two things 1) There is a permanent ban. I'm not so sure about that, the one on Longstaff in particular was from behind, so was both dangerous and stopped a clear attack, that was far worse than what Hall did, which to me looked more like they were both pushing each other

Muniz marking Garnacho is irrelevant, his ability to clear the ball was impacted by an offside player, it's clear cut to me I agree the Akanji goal was a joke

I thought it was the correct decisions Is Maguire in an offside position? Yes Does he impact Muniz's ability to play the ball? Yes It's quite clear unless I'm missing something

If you are behind the ball you can't be offside, that is true but the direction of the ball is irrelevant, you can be offside if the ball goes backwards It's absolutely rare you see this as it's quite unique but the main example I can think of is the Harry Kane goal against Sporting last season that was disallowed, despite Emerson heading the ball backwards it was disallowed as Kane was in an offside position

I'm not worried about the Man-U game It's the Spurs game and I actually wouldn't say I'm worried, I just don't think it's one I'd say with confidence we'd win, as they are a good side and are in great form
