For the money spent, Conte wants a good shoeing. They're awful to watch and the results are rubbish.

The results were decent up until a few weeks ago but the football has largely been turgid

This seems to happen fairly regularly! Lowly team X goes one or two nil up against Man City,  but it happens so early on in the game that they can't keep it up for the remainder and end up losing by a two goal margin anyway. Can't see Brentford going into HT in the lead.

The only difference is City don't look overly threatening like they usually do

Wonder if the WC is playing on some players minds

Brentford finally score been miles better than City

    Fully deserved

    Created a few good chances

    City look lethargic.

Hopefully we can find ourselves only 2 behind them this evening

I wonder how that same picture would look under an Ashley skeleton staff.

When Bruce won the award didn't he just hog all the glory

Whilst Rafa included all his staff (not that there were loads tbf)

Some absolutely horrendous takes. Some people even saying Bruce would have done better. Should have been bannings dished out all around.

Aye, reading back it was quite brutal

I remember being surprised at how impatient people were, especially considering we were the fanbase that suffered Mike Ashley

Can I get some page references for some anti-Howe takes? Trying to remember what my take was, think I was fairly supportive once Emery dropped out but I think most in the board were, weren’t they?

I think 560 onwards had some belters but our situation wasn't great (think it was immediately after the Watford result)

15th January onwards after Watford scored their late equaliser at SJP is a good read.

Just had a read, some absolute belters in there.

A fair few people not just questioning him but wanting him binned off.

The reaction at the time was ridiculous but football fans are an impatient bunch, though I was surprised a fanbase that suffered Ashley wasn't more patient

  8. It's not a shock because he's obviously the manager but liked how he answered the question about Emery being first choice

There's a lot of egotistical people that would have taken issue with that but it's not about ego with him

He's brilliant and I really hope he's here for many, many years. I also hope people show patience with him if we ever hit a bump in the road and have a dodgy patch
