  1. As long as the abuse doesn't cross the line I don't see it as going too far.

Bishop has been working overtime recently to discredit Rafa and the fans, trying to paint Ashley as some sort of saint.

So if we can let those that work with/for Bishop know what he's about then I don't see that as an issue.

The fact of the matter is this has been a long time coming, Ashley has kept on taking the piss and pushing things BUT it looks like we've finally found the thing that really gets to him so we need to carry on.

  2. It amazes me the people on here that put him ahead of Beardsley,Solano ,Lee or Robert. They either didn't see them players play or just have some bizarre love in for Ben Area. Wherever he's been he's been lazy and his attitude stinks yes he's got talent but my god he's not on the same level as the players mentioned

Can't remember much about Beardsley or Lee but Solano and Robert are two of my all time favourite NUFC players. They were great and entertaining players in the SBR years but their careers were nothing special outside of that little spell and in the end the SBR team won nothing either. Meanwhile HBA has won a countless number of trophies playing for the three biggest teams in France and had a great and entertaining spell here (when allowed).

World must be a wondrous place for you if people putting HBA ahead Nobby or Robert in their all time NUFC XI amazes you.

Can I please point out that Cacapa won more French league titles

Did I put Cacapa in my all time XI?

No but you were using French league titles as a barometer for saying that HBA was superior to Nobby and Robert so I was just pointing out that on that measure you can’t leave Cacapa out of your XI

I didn't even say that HBA was superior, just that it's hardly ridiculous to put him in ahead of Nobby or Robert in an all time XI like the quoted poster suggested.

Considering HBA had a better end product (in terms of goals&assists ratio wise) than Robert (Ginola too) I don't think it's crazy to put him ahead of Robert.

For some reason you've got people that either fell for the bullshit spread by Pardew or they hate football getting bemused by it when it's actually not that much of a shock.

  3. Shola can get fucked like, anyone that publicly kiss Ashley's arse can do one.

It's bad enough when idiots like Gray, Keys, Parish etc defend him BUT when a local lad does it then it's just disappointing as he should get it. Bloody hell, I'm sure Micky Gray was more critical of Ashley than Shola.

Though having said that I'm not sure why I'm surprised at this outcome, didn't he reportedly side with Pardew against Ben Arfa, that said it all about the type of person he is.

  4. Really don't understand why those that hate Ben Arfa keep visiting the thread and then talk nonsense.

The facts are Ben Arfa had a better goals &  assists per minute ratio than Robert and Ginola. Plus he was extremely unlucky to have been managed by a turd.

It's simple, he was class, he did have a good end product BUT certain people (Pardew and morons) held him to a higher and unrealistic standard where unless he scored every single game or in the 25 mins he used to get they deemed him to be rubbish, which is absolute bollocks.

I slightly feel sorry for anyone that took no enjoyment out of watching him play, to prefer Obertan, Taylor, Gouffran etc has to be a mental illness.

  5. Such a threat when running at players and such a joy to watch.

I think our chance to sign him was this summer gone, the £20-25mill would have been worth it BUT a full season of him performing will just up his price further and then get more ambitious teams (basically everyone) after him. Should have even done an obligation to buy if Ashley didn't want to sanction it for now.

Ah well, guess it's best to just enjoy him for the season.

  6. Kovacic is class, love watching him play. Not sure how many CM Chelsea need but he’s a great signing.

Yeah, think positionally he's got some learning to do BUT thoroughly enjoy watching him on the ball, think he'll do well especially if he has Kante/Jorginho just behind him
  7. Nice to see Geordie Ahmed on here, top person.

Holy shit. Only just realised Georgie Ahmed has some of the most likes and retweets in the replies to that recent KBA Fashion tweet. [emoji38] It really fucking has to be Barrett or one of his stooges.

Aye, I just clicked afterwards that's what it will be.

    They're a bunch of scumbags.

Hang on, so what’s going on here?

KBA Fashion posted a link to SD for trainers, loads of comments from us as you'd expect. My comment got a few likes so clearly this person has seen that and joined here to post the crap he did.
  8. Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, Man United is exactly how the table should have been last season like. It still blows my mind that Man United finished ahead of Liverpool and Spurs.

The pair of them were behind Manchester United in the table after every single matchday last season, so personally, it is fairly easy for me to understand. [emoji38] Obviously, the football was unimpressive compared to the other two.

The article says Ritchie was the luckiest player in the league, avoiding two red cards. Does anyone know what incidents they are referring to?

High boot against Swansea was it? Alfie Mawson? Can't think of the other.

Although he was on the receiving end of what should have been a red card (Rooney forearm to the face iirc)

  9. https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/magpies-complete-rondon-loan-signing

Gayle scored 23 times during the Magpies' 2016/17 Championship-winning season but found goals much harder to come by in the following Premier League campaign, netting on six occasions.

    A touching tribute there.

Found the article a bit odd, almost having a dig at him for only scoring 6 goals BUT perhaps not realising the guy that's replaced him only scored 1 more goal than him despite playing many more minutes.
  10. Pogba to Juve seems to be getting some serious traction. That+Cristiano would instantly make them one of the top sides in Europe (together with what they already had), imho.

That new tax law in Italy is giving Serie A a big boost.

I'm seeing links to Barca, I guess there's no substance to that?

I wonder what the offer would have to be from a potential buyer for Ashley to snap their hands off. We know he keeps upping the price, but there has to be a figure that makes him sit up and think, "Had on a minute, that's a good deal for me."

I think he regrets not selling to the Mansour lot. He's waiting for proper money to be involved.

Wrong ... the only way he sells is via a mass and continued boycott of season tickets / attending matches / buying merch etc and us dropping a couple of divisions . When the club starts costing him serious money - then he'll sell

To add to that if we can create problems for Sports Direct then he'll be wanting to sell.

Currently Sports Direct benefits from his ownership, free sponsorship with no drawbacks BUT if we can change that then suddenly he'll have a decision to make and will undoubtedly be under pressure from shareholders to deal with it.

    This.

If his ownership of NUFC starts to have a negative effect on his other businesses (SD in particular), he will offload the club pronto. That's why the pressure through social media and otherwise, must be sustained.

I think the Magpie Group should look to get some decent PR people on board, and that would mean some funding.....I'd definitely stick my hand in my pocket.

Yeah, I'd happily donate to a group where there is a well organised and professional effort.

For example the guys behind SackPardew were brilliant and that's the kind of thing we need to do.

Didn't they start a fundraising page not long after it got traction and get bashed to fuck over it so they closed it down? I feel like the SackPardew lot got the same a little bit at the time, too iirc.

Yeah the #IfRafaGoesWeGo did start a donation BUT then decided against after getting some grief, which I think is pathetic.

It's a voluntary donation, no one is forced to give any whilst there are those that see the value in it. As long as any group/organisation is transparent with what they spend the money on I've got no issue with it.

However as we've seen some people just love to complain and find fault in anything, they don't offer anything of value, shame.
