How the fuck is that a free kick for Rashford?
Not too dissimilar to the one he got in the League Cup Final

Surely they can have a system that takes a few seconds and pings the ref if they were off. So linesman gives the obvious ones, if its tight no flag and the system can check it. The injury excuse it stupid, its just a bias like yesterday.
At some point I think we'll get there, not sure the tech is quite there yet

Werner was onside there, if its that tight they should just play on. Or the prem should have just used the automated offside thing...
It's because clowns kick off when they let it play on and someone gets injured, like yesterday
The linesman did the right thing yesterday as it was tight
As for automated offsides, that doesn't solve this situation, it's still reliant on the linesman on the pitch to make the initial call

I have Doughty, Porro and KDB on the bench, beat that for FPL pain

Spurs defending for both goals has been shocking
They need Royal and Davies back in at CB

I mean it was clearly offside but what were they checking after the blatant offside? Such a waste of time.
We need to hear what they’re discussing.
Sorry, I meant was Bailey offside
They showed the lines here a few mins ago during a pause in the game

They did on my broadcast. Was the offside for the initial pass?
If that's the case no idea why we kept seeing replays of the interfering with play part?

Looks way offside
Based on the replays they didn't give the initial offside, seemed to be for interfering with play

Does look offside
Keeper with normal arms saves it

Canny strike by Moreno

How can Luiz have any complaints about that free kick, fully grabbed his shirt

Even though I don't like the idea of them winning anything I think Liverpool winning the Carabao is overall better, as they will be getting CL so their Europa Conference spot will go to the highest PL placed team

No rage here.one pass last year doesn’t change my opinion which is he shouldn’t be starting for Newcastle United in the premier league.
I'm intrigued, who would you have started instead?

I’ve been very negative on him in the last few weeks but thought tactically we got it spot on first half. We were dangerous on the counter and hurt them repeatedly.
Was same old story though second half. No energy and we shrank like we’ve done so much this season. Fitness levels have been poor this season for possibly multiple reasons.
If a squad ever needed a holiday away to a warm weather training camp it’s now.
I was surprised we weren't going away to Saudi/Dubai but Howe Howe's explanation for staying and giving the players some time off made sense

Personally I think Eddie is twice the coach Pep is. Pep has managed the best players in the world, managed the best teams in the world, was able to spend the biggest budget in the world. Surprise he won lots of titles. Eddie managed a group a players who were fighting relegation season after season and turned them into a Champions League team. If we had our full squad today we would have won - KDB basically bailed them out. Was nothing Pep did other than bring him on.
I love Howe and will defend him against doylems overly criticising him despite the squad being ravaged but Pep is clear of him, absurd to suggest otherwise
Just spending money and having top players isn't automatically a recipe for success
It's baffling that we are in 2024 and people still don't realise what an insanely immense coach Pep is

Hi guys not been keeping up with the forum tonight. What am I angry at him for this time? Thanks in advance. X
For not making subs (you'll have to ignore the fact the subs bench was honking)

Another game that we made close to no sub, ran everyone on the ground and end up zero point.
Lost to Man City is not a problem. Ran everyone to the ground again is.
We have a two week break after this game so there was no reason to protect legs, if we had good options on the bench he would no doubt have used them
Assuming we don't pick up any more injuries then the players that are fit should be in a position to go again
After the last 2 week break we beat PSG, Man U and were robbed a win away to PSG, all with the same set of players
We really need 2-3 of the injured players back and/or some signings

Na man, I only speak facts, we've won 1 in 12 / 13 against a championship side, you honestly think were a good team / squad ?
Where have you got this 1 win in 12/13 from?
In the last 12 we've won 3 and in the last 13 we've won 4
-
Since he's came back from injury he's been absolutely honking
I guess he's had to go straight in when fit and not had the luxury of being able to gradually ease his way back into the side
He doesn't seem to be doing as much off the ball as he was earlier in the season and he looks worse than ever on the ball

That's it for me, the injury situation hasn't been normal and therefore I don't think it's reasonable to get angry about it or claim it's unacceptable
I do wonder if some people just don't care for context or they just don't understand it
