  1. I think their training must be pretty lax. As a young player over here he would have been used to fairly intense training regimes. Probably finds it hard to get back into that rhythm when he's with the national team now

Could it be the fact he's not playing regularly coupled with bad training drills? I know the last few derbies we've looked stronger going into the final third of the game.

or he is being pushed too hard by the Mackems? :mackems: :mackems:

I wonder whether we're pushing him harder than he's used to in training to try and bulk him up a bit, and he's suffering in the short term as a result.

  2. Llambias added: "The fans want us to buy more players, we need a new striker in January, we'll need replacements in the summer."

Replacements for who? Tiote? Cabaye? Coloccini?

  3. Thought he did alright, needs to learn to use his right foot though.  Looks after the ball better than Obertan, not as quick or skillful, but hardly slow either.

Doesn't sound good for the City game, as others have said, just hope it isn't related to previous injuries.

Put in a decent cross with his right foot

  4. Wearside posted anything funny on RTG?

been a while since he posted in here like.

Don't think he will post any time soon, Sessegnon being HAULED OFF will keep him away for a while longer

  5. Why don't they say c***? What is the kernt business?

Also LOL at Sessegnon getting Ben Arfa style 'Hauled off'

Ben Arfa got 'Hauled off' quicker than Sessegnon

  6. Aye, I actualy cannot get over how cassual it all seems to them

Said it a number of times but it's the most openly racist place I have ever been, literally desperate to get out of there on the one occasion I was unfortunate to visit.

    I agree, horrid place

  7. People complaining on here missing the point... Only they can buy the season tickets at this discounted price... No one else... Great deal all round... Just got to do your own negotiating with whoever you buy the ticket for...

    Cos that'll happen won't it?!?

'Alright mate, seen this deal the toon are doing, £207 for a season ticket!!! Wanna use my details?'

    'Aye, cheers mate!'

'Nee bother, cost ya £50 (or whatever!!!)'

They'd tell you where to go. So even though it's only available to existing ST holders by no means are we going to come out of this better off in any way.

Surely it is the other way round, they approach you and then you can ask for a few quid for helping them out

I personally think it is a great deal, a full ground is a great thing

  8. During his earlier games he used to release the ball quickly, throwing it out wide a lot BUT he seems to be doing that less the more he plays. He is not anywhere near as bad as Harper who takes an age to release the ball BUT there were times today when he could have thrown the ball out, instead he held onto it and then punted it long (though this might be due to the instructions from the manager)

That aside he has been superb this season, looks extremely confident and commands his area very well
