I would like to add if you are the guy or know the guy that keeps shouting "you're going the wrong way" whenever we passed the ball back, you/he does not have a clue, so frustrating hearing shite like that
We struggled to keep the ball at the start, so it was good when we started passing it around (regardless of the direction) BUT some knacker moans and groans because a pass is not made towards the goal, ffs. A forward pass is not always possible, keeping the ball is key
-
Not a great performance BUT importantly we got the 3 points and we have had a great start (from the same games last season we managed 3 points so an improvement )
We started off poorly, like we have done for every game this season BUT at least we got back into the game and then played well, Cabaye especially was very good
It was typical of us to make the last 10 minutes an edgy performance, gave away too many free kicks and were on the back foot

Best in not shit, what are some people on? Alan Smith is shit, Lovenkrands is shit
Best does not just score goals, his all round game is good, I used to think he was average BUT that run he had in the side from the West Ham game onwards showed there is much more to his game
He is very good in the air, he beat Haangeland a fair few times, he has quick feet and is quite strong

That was a lot better from him today, got in some good positions, very good assist and came close to getting off the mark
-
Looking at that starting line up is just
and the reason we accepted the £35mill for Carroll was because our team will get stronger overall, aye right
Anyhow, HOWAY THE LADS
-
crap team selection, Lovenkrands? wtf
-
U18's lost yesterday, 2-1 away to Villa
Adam Campbell scoring our goal
-
I would not play Obertan on the right in a 4-4-2, he is poor in that position. I would rather try a 4-3-3
-
Can see him leading QPR to a win against us, by the look of it Fernandes is going on a spending spree in the next few days, already got Luke Young in as well as Joey. Now linked with the likes of SWP and Scott Parker. Warnock reckons 5 or 6 will be coming in. New signings coupled with the usual pumped up newly promoted team playing at home early in the season in front of a sell out crowd could make it an uncomfortable night for NUFC.
If he scores against us, I wonder if he'll celebrate. Would be absolutely disappointed if he did so after everything he's said about the fans.
No chance he would celebrate

That fat lass would probably take over.
Why would Steve Bruce take over?

professional sportsmen fasting during the season ffs, idiots
Why are they idiots? Some people actually follow there religion properly and don't just follow it when it suits them.
hmm, it's pretty idiotic to stop eating when the sun shines because some schizo maniac from over a 1000 years ago told you to. just sayin'.
undoubtedly you will do things in your life that seem idiotic to others. just sayin'.

Tbf that 39% was proper Brazil 70 football.
It was so good that Pele got his mojo back after watching it
-
It was a bloody good 38.9% tbf.
Aye, I heard they set that 39% alight
-
Their carpet football not do the trick today?
-
Yeah. And frankly if it does then he shouldn't be picked.
Try going a day without eating and then doing any physicall activity, it effects everything! which is why i said he should either break his fast or we shouldn't pick him untill after the Fulham game.
BUT he is eating/drinking at sunset and sunrise
and then on match days he eats as normal
Ba is just struggling because we are not utilising him properly and his confidence looks a bit shot, needs that first goal asap
Thats what i want to know honestly, if he is eating Normally on match days then he's worse than what we thought he is. wouldn't make a diffrence if he's fasting or not if he's eating normally on match days.
Well on match days he does not fast so he should be eating and drinking as normal
He will come good, when Pardew finally realises that he needs to play off the last defender and not be dropping deep to pick up the ball, also he badly needs that first goal to give him a boost
-
I just think he's s***.Yeah. And frankly if it does then he shouldn't be picked.

He is not shit and he will prove it in time

he has to be the biggest idiot alive.
he has the mental capabilities of a thousand year old dead rat.
Splinter was wise as f***!
Yes he was and now we have turtle chaos
:mackems:
-
IF (and it is a big IF) fasting is affecting him then he rightly should not be picked, fairly straight forward, fail to see the speechless element in that comment

Could the club potentially sack him for this? if so, DO IT!
Considering they did not sack Carroll, doubt they could get away with sacking him (though I guess it helped that Saylor did not take the matter further)
That was between two players tho, so we could sort that out 'in-house', a member of the public however...
Aye you are right, Saylor was obviously convinced not to take it further - doubt this bloke who has had his jaw smashed in will be as forgiving
Ranger had no future before this incident, no chance after it
-
What week will this be played?
20th September-22nd September

Would players go for a medical if no fee is agreed?
It can happen, similar to the Barton deal in that if the deal was to happen it would not be held up by a medical
If he is having a medical then at least we know they are happy to sell him

Has been brilliant this season
Glad the management saw sense and gave him a new contract rather than selling him
