Sky’s current contract with Astra runs out in 2028 and I doubt they will renew, Sky are investing heavily in Glass and Stream, it’s the future and the pic quality is stunning.

I actually would be surprised if they don't renew

My experience is that Sky isn't ready to go Glass/Stream only in only 4 years time

Just seemed to be on the rumour mill  for a while that the tv rights was going to go to streaming companies

I always felt the talk of streaming services having all the matches or the premier league releasing their own netflix style subscription was fanciful, it may happen eventually but not yet

Also, I find news like that is often strategically placed by the Premier League to drive up the money they get from Sky/BT

I think you are really stretching if you say it's a yellow [emoji38] I don't think I've ever seen a yellow for accidentally stepping on someone's feet. Of course it hurts, but it happens all the time. And saying he should have seen red for two yellows makes no sense, you can't get a second yellow if you don't have a first one, and if you have the first one, of course you play differently. But yeah, we can agree that it wouldn't have made a difference.

Tell that to Reece James, Oli McBurnie and Connor Galllagher

I do think it could easily have been a yellow but it's hardly a howler and can see why the ref missed it

Yeah that's the one, December '21. I'd say perhaps the Norwich game was his first big midfield game for us, but that Man U one was definitely the first 'right I'm completely taking over and there's absolutely nothing you can fucking do about it' game.

Yeah, the Norwich one is when he was immense but the Man U is when others started to notice and it's when we realised that this new role is sustainable

That match didn't feel right to me mind. I don't even feel like Spurs really exposed vulnerabilities, they themselves were really poor I thought and Man City got complacent every time they went ahead.

City just seem like they are waiting for KDB, they lack that killer instinct currently

They've not adequately replaced Gundogan or Mahrez

If City can beat Spurs then it's been a decent weekend for us

Gained 3 points on Man U and Brighton, gained 2 points on Villa

Whilst Liverpool losing would have been nice, realistically they along with Arsenal/City will finish ahead of us

Sadly City couldn't beat them but we still gained 2 points on them

Slightly annoying as Villa and Spurs were minutes away from losing and us gaining 3 on them but still, if offered this at the start of the weekend I would have taken it
