Yeah, Hans' has fucking nailed the comedy response so hard. Laughing like a little girl here No coming back for Wearside now.

Enrique knows the league. Santon doesn't. Simple. Good job Agüero read those Rothmans before his transfer. Started from the bench mate. Difference being he actually got to come onto the pitch. Against a turbo-shit opponent with no pressure on him, yeah? Also, he's a forward. Different balance of requirements, easier to drop into such situations...

Enrique knows the league. Santon doesn't. Simple. Well, he can't learn from sitting on the bench, can he? Would rather he spent a week getting to grips with his new team first... Like arguing with a brick wall at times here.

Agree with all of those, although the defence didn't look all too solid in the first half today. A better side would have scored at least a couple. That's maybe only 5/6 teams in the league.

A few posters have backed up my words that Cabaye was totally non-existent tonight, not sure why you are so seething. Maybe when it comes from an opposition supporter it hurts more. He was pretty poor tonight yes, but your team hasn't won a match all season, so where do you get the balls to pipe up? He wasn't pretty poor at all. Everything he had to do, he did well.

AHHH WUZ THERE WHEN CABAYE WUZNT DOMINANT AND AH TOLD EM SO

I've not seen a single Sunderland fan hailing Gardner as 'world class'. Nobody does delusion quite like Newcastle supporters, I did try and warn you's early in this thread. Based on what? Gut instinct? Goes in the same category as grit you cretin. Cabaye was solid tonight, our best midfielder. Obvious for anyone with a footballing brain to see. Stop trying to troll, you know nothing.

30/41 passes completed. Retaining the ball extremely well inside our own half. Majority of missed passes were long balls and his corners, only 4 short miss-placed! He made 5 interceptions - the most on the pitch. 2/5 tackles won - a bit lightweight and over-run here. Stats
-
In possession, yeah. But he can't do it all on his own can he? Always has that class when on the ball, but like I said, he had nothing to work with. No full backs to spread it to. No strikers dropping to offer an option. Tiote on his side, who looks to be suffering from a massive confidence loss. What can he do with that shit if his game is built around passing? Superb when not in possession btw. Massive upgrade on fat boy.

It's alright guys; I've got this covered. Wearside is sinking without a trace

What a s*** post. You're trolling right? Please say you are because if you aren't then well, you're not a good reader of a football game at all. You'd be a footballing simpleton. Do yourself a favor and delete your original post. I promise I'll remove this the second it goes. Can somebody, anybody, please tell me what this lad does. I've now watched him in 4 games, Arsenal, Sunderland, Scunthorpe and QPR and he does nothing at all, he is barely ever involved in the game. Your midfield was completely over-ran today and Cabaye was non-existent. Are you 'Masterplan' on RTG? Or did you just C&P a post of his over to here. Identical. Not bothering to reply in detail. If you can't see it, you're not worthy of being spoon fed. Stick to focusing on GRIT, determination and other stuff along that mantra...

btw, Cabaye was fucking awesome in defence tonight. Can't wait to see his stats, must have run 12/13k+.

They will double team him like there's no tomorrow. Because there's no need to rush Santon. Shit post. Depends what you consider rushing to be... either a wise, let's not chuck him in straight away after a handful of days at the club in a Monday night live game against a pumped up opposition. That wouldn't be rushing. Or after a full week's training and preparation for the next game. That wouldn't wise considering our other option.
-
Did someone forget to tell QPR? Completely missed the point there. They're the home team, new owner, newly promoted, new team... And we have new players, a stronger squad, a new style of play... Hope you're not backing up the argument against the original post here. Because it's right. Huge difference between our new players and theirs.
-
Can't wait to get him into the side. He's going to make a huge difference to how we play. We'll have an extra option available when playing from the back. Cabaye and co will be able to spread the play to the left without stalling for a second because he's scared Raylor wont react and contrive to lose the ball. Jonas wont have to worry so much about his defensive duties that he's having to work overtime at. Will be a big difference when we can get a ball playing full back into the side. On a similar note, that's the best performance I've seen from Simpson in a long time.
-
we didn't give in because they didn't score, and that was more by luck than design. Not having this shit. We played throughout and battled to the end in defence.
-
If we're looking for a positive it's that we didn't give in at any point. Everyone, and I'll take the liberty of excluding Obertan from this (I doubt he knows what to do), put there all into it when defending and we kept another clean-sheet against, yes I'll repeat, the most potent attacking performance we've had to weather. Well until they took SWP off the right wing in the second half - baffling decision that - and it all got a little stale. Shit in possession, but their midfield overran ours, including the excellent Taarabt, who worried both our central midfielders throughout the game curtailing any time they had to think about moving forward. Obvious biggest hitch is Ryan Taylor who has nothing when we're in possession. Remove that one player and we'll look twice the team in possession. Hopefully we come up against a more settled, less energetic, side at Villa Park with a new competent left back in the side.
