No point in risking our best players? You having a laugh. Neither Ba and Mav are match fit. Putting them up against opponents that are 100% fit will not do them any good. In fact, it will probably increase the probability of injury. It's much better to use them in the second half when Ferdinand is getting tired. Then they'll be more effective, eg Ba against Fulham. Course they're match fit ffs, Ba in particular has had a full pre-season. Might not have been enough?

Dropping Obertan is foolish. Best - Ba - Obertan as our most attacking players is our best option for this game. Tiote, Cabaye, Jonas behind them.

If he's being played on the right what will his role be then? Probably exactly the same role as he played for us from that position. Not the easiest to define is it? Pretty certain I'd have no trouble defining his role for us. Did watch him over 30 times and all. What's you point?

Replace 'skill' with 'trickery'? Then add something along the lines of 'he doesn't need to be told to use/abuse it'...

Him and Jonas together would certainly give Barton a pretty busy night. Do it I say. SWP you man Barton will play CM. Not according to their manager. You know, the guy who will pick their team.

Taraabt has individual skill that is probably second to none in the league and has the unpredictability to go along with it. He could turn up tomorrow and score the winner without breaking sweat. But, his downfall is his near inability to work effectively in a team. Tactically naive and doesn't really hold down a position when not in possession. You will see a handful of occasions tonight where he holds on to the ball for those few extra needless seconds. Has shown signs of improvement over the last 2 seasons at QPR. Still, far away from the incredibly ball greedy juggler who appeared a handful of times for Tottenham. Always going to be a threat though.

"Can't believe they put me on the bench I'm so honoured to have this opportunity." LOVE this one.
-
Barton is far too timid these days to pose us any physical threat.
-
Backlash could be horrific if he was playing for us. We are talking of a relegation causing points deduction and a lawsuit from Liverpool. Aren't these type of things covered in the medical? We knew nothing xshifty

You don't. Gyan would walk into your team. Gyan would walk away from your team. Carroll, Enrique, Nolan, Barton, Milner, Bassong, Owen. The list just goes on and on and on. People in glass houses........ Well I am completely shocked that players transfer to other clubs. Shocked.
-
Besides we have a much more prolific goalscorer in Leon Best

You don't. Gyan would walk into your team. Not on current form xshrug Maybe in the latter half of last season. Maybe.

Would like Leon Best to continue 'warping' his goal scoring record tonight. I'm sure people can afford to write-off another couple of goals...
