No, it's one of the main reasons we have a window in the first place.

59 pts. So there's no way to see what transactions there have been on waivers? And you have to look through all the players to see which are available? Did they even look at an NFL FF site?
-
I genuinely did not notice that until you pointed it out . Since I missed the draft I just presumed that a twelfth team had joined late.

I feel like West Ham did it that time when Alvin Martin played. Actually, come to think of it I think the reserve 'keeper was the other one, and he got injured. Was it not the match against us when it was something like 8-1 and Beardsley went in goal? Ach, you're right, it was Martin who scored a hat-trick or something

Hopefully. They are playing first 4 games this season all away, so might be struggling. At least they have that intimidating home atmosphere to go back to after that. Turn up the speakers, lads.

Who've you got playing right now, Chris? I'm finished on 56 pts I believe. Blind is on the bench for me.

We're all just going to have to update each other with our scores .
-
Suits me . 33 pts with the Spurs defence to come.

Fully charged he looks like he's got a good engine I dunno, I see positives and negatives.
-
I stand to be corrected, but I believe that's us.

Was there anyone good on the wire?

After last night, can't enjoy this too much. Arsenal and Liverpool looking ropey at the back doesn't mean shit if they win anyway.

Nope . Also, there really is no easy way to see what somebody else's team is. I can see who they drafted. Am I missing something? I was when I posted that! OCK, what's the score? OCK, OCK, what's the score? (I'm serious, since I don't know what your team is. At least I know you can't play both your keepers.)

Not a bad start for Hudson Hotspur .

They think it's all over.

Think first set up of the millions of league takes their system ages every year. Yeah, but this is the first time they've done a draft league. It just doesn't look like they've thought it through. They haven't even got a filter for player searches to allow you to just view the players not on a roster (for waivers) although that shouldn't be too difficult to add. Viewing the opponents team for a given match would be more complex to do but still a necessity. You should be able to click on the team name in the fixture as a link. It either didn't occur to them or they think it would bring their system to a halt.

Still, nice start from Vardy. Not looking forward to fielding the entire Spurs defence against Chelsea next week. You're welcome, Deuce.

The website is absolute agony. I thought it was the shitty internet in my hotel. I did wonder if they'd bitten off more than they could chew.

I think your choice of words is useful. It's not that he is wrong, but that he's done wrong. The week before the season, he/his agent has/have gone to the Sun and vented. There's a lot of truth in what he says, but it looks shitty, particularly as some of what he says could be viewed as dissing a lot of his teammates. He signed a new contract a year ago that ties him until 2021. Any suggestion that he's underpaid should be viewed with that in mind. There's absolutely no way on Earth that he's on 30Kpw. There's some suggestion that because he's been injured for so long that he might have missed out on a lot of bonuses, which is possible. It all comes down to the same thing again. There are five English clubs with revenue that is at least 100M more than ours. We have a fair few players who are as good as or better than their counterparts at those clubs. If the market rate is set by Man U, Man C, Chelsea, Barca etc then sure, our players are underpaid. If you want the best footballers to be at the "best" clubs and paid "the going rate", then bully for you, just don't whinge about the CL or FFP etc etc. You just want different things from football than me. Just because you can't compete financially with the top clubs doesn't mean you can't spend money at all Not sure what your argument is. We already have the sixth highest wage bill, roughly in line with revenue. If you mean that we should be spending money on new players then sure, but we come up against the same problem - the players we would like to get to improve our team are players who the big guys want, and they blow us out of the water with the fees and wages they can afford. For example, we were supposedly on the verge of signing Juan Foyth, a young Argentinian centre-back. Then PSG got involved. Game over, and not for the first time. Hopefully the new stadium will help us bridge the gap...eventually...but we still need to pay for it as well which clouds the issue. Levy was quoted a while back saying something like building the stadium will not affect squad development, but that just sounds like bullshit.

Thanks for clearing that up. No problem I couldn't tell you before the draft cos everyone would do it. Of course, neither of them will play if we don't have a match that gameweek.

Uh huh. Good job we have these rules in place, eh? Just a reminder.
