Sold nani last week a day before his big points tally. Then had jones go off early injured, also had ferdinand who didnt play then got injured the next day. Sold Ferdinand for Evans & got Rooney in. Capt Rooney today who doesnt start, then plays in midfield, then passes up a penalty. Evans goes off early after getting injured. :lol: f*** sake.

Its 3 games now where neither of Ba/Best have scored in open play when on the same pitch together. Hardly tough opposition either. I wanted Best starting over HBA just weeks ago, but hes presented such a lack of threat its not worked in the same way it was obvious last week. Ben Arfa starting shouldnt be in doubt really, he shouldve started today.

Doesnt make any sense, he wasnt limited to cameos just a few games ago. Hes now proving himself in actual games & yet not showing enough in training now?

If he'd brought Ben Arfa on before the fans stated to call for him then I might have thought he learned from his mistakes. We'll know a little bit more when we see the team to play Liverpool. No sign that he'd learn from any mistake whatsoever If we dont win today, everyone would be destroying the guy for his starting line up.

This really, just looks very affected by confidence. Today he had a clear chance to shoot and he could barely control it before passing to Obertan when he was offside, really poor. Big contrast to the player who swivelled on the ball with ease to score against Fulham.

Hopefully this sorts out our defensive record again, wasnt tested much but looked sturdy.

Games where we scored atleast two goals previously resulted in: Wins at: Fulham, Blackburn, Wolves, Stoke, Everton Draw at: Tottenham. Defence is where our points are leaking, think the swansea game masked that via them barely attacking.

I think playing best encourages possession slightly, as we're more likely to make it stick upfront. But we've seen in the last couple games its provided little penetration of defences as our wingers cannot cross it adequately. The one time we got through was vuckics through ball to Ba, it was all infront of them bar that. Similarly at Swansea unless Ba produced individual magic. Ben Arfa is the type that can jink his way through instead. We'll probably keep it less, but be more dangerous on the attack as West brom were to us.

Really dont understand the controversy surrounding this. Even if someone jumps at you first, you cant then assault them a couple times while theyre on the ground and carry on playing

Simpsons crossing was better than both Jonas & Obertans, just as it was in the previous game. He lobs a few in, but some are much better.

His ability to just hold off a defender is phenomenal. He has great touch as it is, but there were a few times that he'd have been in on goal if hed just controlled it better. The defender on him had no chance.
