Having seen it there again, i dont think Rooneys doing much wrong either tbf.

His class stood out today for me at the start straight away. Nani left Raylor & Jonas for dust bursting inbetween both of them on the right headed for goal. Colo just comes across & stands off a bit, forces Nani to make his move then pushes him out wide before blocking the resulting cross. Made it look simple. Any other defence and Nani is straight through to score there himself, let alone getting a cross in.

So thats 9 overall goals in his last 8 games. And hes either scored or assisted in 7 of his last 8 games running. Not bad

His block on Youngs shot was equal to Simpsons goaline clearance. Both pieces of fantastic defending and its clearly no coincidence, Pardew has them all well organised.

Quiet today again. Tbh its taken a defensive mistake & a dodgy penalty for him to have any real involvement in the last two games. He needs to get on the ball far more, he looks classy when hes on it.

He does well fighting for the ball, still quiet in regards to distributing it. Want him involved in the games more again.

Pretty good game today, has been solid in general recently. Young had him a few times, but he made some class blocks to. The one at the end has singlehandedly got us a point, magnificent.

They said Guthrie'd had a knock going into the game didnt they. So that would explain Perch, Guthrie wasnt fully fit. No idea about Loven, just fresh legs i suppose.

When you look at what its taken the top two sides in the league to score against us. Deflections, penalties & an error from one player. Our defensive set up looks brilliant, fair play to Pardew.
