  1. this. Not this. They did not reject the transfer They did. How ? Before the muppet handed in his request. They didnt reject a transfer, they held out for a higher price
  2. this. Not this. They did not reject the transfer They did. How ?
  3. David craig has been fed lines all night btw Complete set up
  4. Even in the best situation, we perfectly invest this money in class players & improve as a side. Man it was nice having a geordie #9 again
  5. Cmon man, we turned down 30 mill from a club who had 50 mill coming in. We kept inviting bids, we didnt turn them down whatsoever. Ashley got as much from the deal as he could & pushed the deal through.
  6. Let down by both. Massively annoyed with Ashley & him avoiding any abuse on here. I think Carroll would have preferred to stay, but has had his head turned by a huge wage increase. Its understandable to an extent, yet massively dissapointing from him to. Huge shame
  7. Aye we were struggling to resist so much that we stayed silent & kept inviting offers. Poor Ashley, hes been completely caught off guard Fucking hell
  8. We have been quiet all day ffs, we have clearly been listening to offers. We havent given a single "NO CARROLL IS NOT FOR SALE" statement whatsoever. Yet after hours and hours of speculation we release an open ended "rejected 2nd offer" statement & you lot think we were trying our best to keep him
  9. 80k a week and the chance to play for brand liverpool Do you honestly think its likely that Ashley would have made any attempt whatsoever to improve his contract in an attempt to keep him? Or is it more likely that he'd use Carrolls wanting of a higher wage as a reason to accept a large amount of money, whilst avoiding any blame from the situation. Think about it, its quite obvious. This is Mike Ashley. If you think the "2nd offer rejected" statement wasnt completely planned you're massively massively niave.
  10. What could Liverpool possibly offer Carroll that Ashley could not have matched ?
  11. My word some of you are so easily turned by basic manipulation, its embarrassing.
  12. Liverpool turned Carrolls head with far more money. Ashley has made no attempt to match their valuation in terms of contract etc, as he wants the cash Carroll is put into a position of turning down a massive pay increase Carroll wants pay increase & is told by Ashley he has to put in a transfer request to achieve move Andy Carroll does so. Mike Ashley wins, Andy Carroll wins to an extent
  13. This Obviously. It couldnt be more blatant. wake up lad I'm not the one making up pie in the sky conspiracy theories ffs You're niave if you think its as simple as it appears. I dont doubt Carroll was looking after himself & potentially wanted a much higher wage. You dont think Ashley wanted the money? He could easily put Carroll in a position of staying here undervalued on a much lower contract & force him to put in a transfer request if he wants the wage. Ashley could easily have done far more, think about what liverpool possible have over us to turn Carrolls head? That plus the random "rejected 2nd offer" released in the middle of completely silence. How do you not think this is dodgy as fuck? You're being done completely.
  14. Liverpool obviously offered him a far improved contract. Ashley could easily have said that Carroll will have to submit a transfer request if he wants the move, as we arent going to match them. Simple Why would you possibly think Mike fucking Ashley would have any reservations whatsoever in taking 35-40 million for a player? Wake up man.
  15. Dont see why people wouldnt blame Ashley? Only reason Carroll could possibly want to leave is an improved contract, why didnt we match them? The transfer requests nonsense is dodgy also, dunno why youd trust Ashley atall given his history.
  16. Must just be the wages. Seems very dodgy though, given he said days ago hed never be leaving. Works out nicely for Ashley to get money & Avoid blame. Not happy.
  17. Thats basically what i think is happening. The silence from us all day, only to realise a very non detailed statement leaving it all open still is a huge sign. Its down to Carroll
  18. SSN still reporting Carrolls on his way to Merseyside even though the latest is that we've rejected an offer
  19. The key to winning matches is to score goals. It isnt easy for clubs in our position to sign class players in a position like striker that will also go unnoticed by other sides in stronger positions. Strikers are all about stats, if theyre good theyll score goals & get noticed. It isnt the same as players like Enrique or Tiote, nor are many players in the position Ben Arfa was.
