Miles better in terms of what though? It's avoiding the entire point of the tournament & taking loads of things for granted. Wrong way to look at it all. What's the entire point of the tournament? Winning it? Surely the easiest route to the final makes the entire point of the tournament more achievable Surely the point is to be able to call yourself the best side in the world? Are you achieving that by being scared of playing half the sides in it & hoping other teams knock them out for you? It's a really embarrassing way of looking at it in my opinion and a bit concerning how many want to win something in that manner.

I think we're better off doing well and playing literally anyone, rather than losing & playing someone we think will be easier. Massively underestimating the role of confidence in the group & the ability of team's we'd be playing. Our best chance is to keep this positive momentum going imo

Think both teams on the pitch are going for the win tbh and the yellow card narrative is just seeing things where they aren't. The booking's were because each player was sold right before they made the tackle, they weren't blatant pointless fouls.

It's the world cup. What possible pride can you get from it by purposefully trying to avoid any team you're concerned could beat you Got to try to win the group and go for it in every game.
