Yeah because both our defenders were out. If either had come back we'd have looked better again. Im not making an argument about not needing Colo, id like to see how he does in the Prem again. Just the "we were bad when colo was out" has been used to prove how hes our best defender a few times now & thats not really how it went down.

Taylors better than Colo for me, does his job quietly and efficiently. We got a clean sheet with Colo out against Bristol & would have had another at QPR if not for the deflected goal. So all this "we were so bad when Colo was out" isnt that true. We lost the next two games because Taylor was out also.

Pretty sure there were a few "he cost 10 million, hes not very good" sensible critiques going on.

Not many are saying it wasn't actually a foul, what we are saying is that it was very soft and Harper should do much better. Which is what i dont agree with. I dont believe someone should do better incase theyre fouled. Theres so many analogys i could make with that idea that would be laughed off instantly. If he'd brushed him and harper had dropped it sure. If you look at the 2nd picture, you'll see he has both hands behind the ball as the guy heads it & his arms are pulled apart. It looks soft just because its arms.

Dangerous position to punch, if you misjudge it even a little it could land anywhere. Hes done the right thing. Pathetic. Id prefer a keeper to catch high lofted balls than punch those all day long. Thats just common sense for ya.

He has no momentum. That guy is jumping towards the ball after running at it, Harper has had to compensate for a badly hit cross by moving backwards & so he doesnt have momentum or a good leap on his side. He has no choice but to do it like that. If you lot rewatched the video and looked at these things individually you'd see theres not much more he can do beyond tip it over or punch it. I understand why he'd want to catch it instead, its good goalkeeping.
