Hes been sloppy like going fowards last couple games, had some moments of class still though. Reckon him in the middle with lovenkrands making runs would work well though.

I agree with starting Carroll over Ranger still, dont think Ranger should be thrown in at the deep end to much.

Bartons massively underused out on the wing. His skill is through balls, admittedly last week he gave it away a bit. Today he played some nice balls down the line because thats about all that was on. We need our more creative players in the middle.

Didnt see his goal for England, but dont remember seeing many situations today where i expected him to be able to do much more with it than lay it off atall tbh.

We'll likely be far better next week after coming through that with a win. I predict a 2-0

Agree completely. Colo had a decent game also, apart from the near disasterous finish. Makes no sense to bypass out midfield though with long balls, our midfield i sabout 70% of the reason we're better than most of these sides. So a waste today.

Smith woulda been sent off for that regardless, he completely took the man in a clear goal scoring position for them.

We clearly could have dominated them, we outpassed them easily at the beginning. Then half of them sat back & stopped supporting when we went frowards. So we started playing long balls to ranger & lost 80% of them. Instead of passing it across the pitch.

Mate they outplayed us for near the entire game, their finishing was pap sure. We were still massively lucky.

Only real positive is that we've won, thats about all i can take from it. Kept the run of confidence going, hopefully next game theyll get their act together. We've completely fluked that victory

Clearly Ranger alone upfront was doing shit all, that was the entire issue. We werent keeping it when attacking through to many long balls & no support.
