  1. It's perfectly simple. We can say that Vuckic is a better prospect than playing Barton, but we can't say that Ranger should have more confidence in his shot because he hasn't played enough.
  2. Giving away the ball endlessly after scoring. Complete change in mentality, we should be bossing possession still. Ranger clearly needs help, Nolans nowhere, Bartons been poor again. Get lovenkrands on & put Barton more Central.
  3. Nolans been invisible this match. Def need to make some changes
  4. Decent line up. Hopefully Barton will have a better game & Ranger can get his first. I reckon a 3-1 to us.
  5. http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/2548/carlos3.jpg Im pretty sure this is what happened
  6. Look on the previous page man, you're not talking in paste tense atall. Making a statement about his current mentality in general playing for the first team is exactly what you were doing Why else do you think people are asking you to give him a chance ?
  7. Ooh harsh words. I'm really writing him off there like. He's not the finished package, we all know that. All I did was made a comment about how he needs more confidence in his shooting ability, but because he's the forums w***-fester, people jump on your back. I do apologise, Nile Ranger is king of all, he is the perfect footballer and doesn't need to improve at all. Greatest player ever. f***s sake. I didnt say you were writing him off anywhere, i wouldnt really care if u were if it made sense. But theres no real basis to believe he needs more confidence in his shooting ability. Based on two games, one where he wasnt on the ball much & another where he chose to set up others instead. The lads scored 20+ last season & along with now scoring for the England U19's several times. There isnt much to suggest he's unconfident in his finishing atall. Ive seen several people suggest what you said & i just think its pretty moronic so i picked up on it. If people suggested it about a lad who consistantly tended to go out of his way to set up others, laying it off in potentially goalscoring opportunities when he looks like he has the potential to do more for himself, it would make sense. Basing any judgement off of more than a couple games, would make more sense. People making random crap determinations about the lads mentality based on one match really, makes no sense atall. Same reason you thought my statement about you was equally as clueless, because ofcourse it was. That was teh whole point.
  8. Aye, shame he looks like he's been taking shooting lessons from Jonas. I just wish he'd pluck up the courage to have efforts on goal, he's probably got a sweet shot. On the same line of thought. I wish you'd pluck up the courage to talk about something other than Nile rangers shooting abilities. Aye, sorry I mentioned it ONCE like How funny that i would think i could judge your attitude on something, based on only one or two instances. Who would do that eh Anyway, back to Nile ranger being to scared to shoot.

    Mark Viduka

No chance was Viduka the more "naturally gifted" player. Because he was a big lad & had great control ? Its no more complicated than them both having different strengths. Shearers made him the better player & he had a lot more over viduka than simply being more determined and disciplined. No real basis to believe Vidukas control came to him naturally either.

  11. Pace doesnt matter as much if you always have the ball, shouldnt expect us to counter attack...we should expect to dominate the games. That midfield will boss most sides about in this division.
  12. I expect Carroll will start with Nolan just behind as usual, hopefully loven will be fit to go upfront to. Unlikely he'll be giving the kids a run out from the start & wouldnt want him to. Far better to go for players that have consistantly played at a standard above the other teams, than kids who COULD be even better than that. As they could also do worse. Certainly wouldnt risk it in this game anyway.
  13. He's a f***ing amazing attacking full back. He is suspect defensively. Suspect? He's a shambles, every goal England concede at the moment is due to his total inability to do his job and stop the left winger. At a World Cup, that will cost us. He is good going forward though against s*** teams, fair play to him. We had 3 chances to clear the ball after Johnson let the cross past him. He had more positive moments in this match than negative.
  14. We're at the World cup  :celb: :snod:
  15. I missed that goal what a classic
