Its not even worth debate. Talking like he did prematch is such a lesser than mentality, as his half time team talks seem to be. The top sides do not think like that man. Long term it will not produce long lasting self belief, at best it might alleviate some pressure for this season but then what? Then the side s***s itself when they face expectancy before playing bottom placed Sunderland, or we follow up a 5th placed finish by nearly getting relegated. It doesnt work long term, its small time. Mentioned Martinez on here a few days ago & critiqued him. He needs to start and finish games. Think Debuchy is so up to speed now he's perfect to sit behind hba and make up for his lack of defensive duties and when things don't come off. Might hamper Debuchy's own drive forward for a bit until they get the overlap right but it's worth sticking with for the rest of the season. Debuchys right foot & Ben Arfa's left on that side should offer more attacking options you'd think. Sissokos pace/strength has been very useful though & creates its own.

Just didnt come off for him today. I dont think he was especially greedy, he got himself in good positions & tried to feed through Ameobi after going past 2 another time.

Not many sides pass & move like Arsenal tbf. I do wonder why people assume we'd come off best if we'd have gone gung ho attack vs attack. As if its clear we'd win that battle?

That didn't help either, formation was lost and we became chaotic. Nah. We switched Santon to right wing specifically because he did that & created a clear opportunity seconds later. Santon did well on that side.

Agree. Theres always an assumption when we lose that there MUST have been a better way to play the game. We may have scored if we'd been more attacking, we may have been opened up by them far more easily also.
