Alan man, you're not learning.

Even though you know Pardew thinks thats just justified his entire approach to the 2nd half.
-
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
-
Gonna shoot here like
-
Wish id seen the first half

Typicall because he's not got enough time he almost has to (in his opinion) Goes in circles doesnt it. Pardew likely sees that & keeps him a sub, so Benny consistantly reacts by trying to be a game changer. So Pardew keeps him a sub etc One of them needs to click, theyre meant to communicate well.

Trying to much Benny

They ain't going to be able to afford to buy Lakaku so maybe he thinks he could bed in Jones ready for next season... Will be interesting to see if it works if it goes through... Bit of a gamble, short term loan pushing out what was your best striker rather than trying to develop him in the current side. Suppose it works if the loanee means they can get a better striker in future. Jones might bring others into play, need a big finisher at that level though.

if you don't want to be pulled on s***, then don't stalk the forum making absolute declarations about players which turn out to be bollocks You really aren't too bright, are you? Pull me on whatever you want by all means if it helps fills the void on your oil rig, but I won't repeat myself again, dude. I've explained to you that he isn't my type of CM. I'm surprised and impressed that he's not giving away goals and possession like last season but that's as far as it goes. You never learn any sense of humility Ronaldo, so many times you've been shown to post absolute bollocks on occasion (as we all do) & still you'll continue to wonder around the forum like an "always right forum knight" waving his arrogant sword around at every differing opinion as you have a few posts up. Then you cut yourself & get personal when its pointed out? Sort it out man, proper insecure nonsense.

As is generally the case in life ofcourse. Not the best idea to be to quick to write off something that has previously shown itself to be capable of a far better standard. Unless its Shola Ameobi obv.
-
It depend what angle you're seeing it from. I remember from one side it doesnt look like much, from another they showed his follow up kick looked purely like an attempt to hurt the player which is a red.

Ben Arfa is the only one who gets central and tries to go past players. Anita/Tiote/Cabaye all pass it quick, get it wide, over the top or try a through ball. Ben Arfa tries to open up his own space, which can be quality. If he gets it wrong though its difficult, the opposition can break & they have options both sides to stretch us with. As opposed to if one of our wide players loses it. Hes basically just more risky due to how he likes to play. Against a side like Man City i can understand it, as their ability to defend & counter may strongly counter what Ben Arfa can do offensively. Against weaker sides though you'd think the balance of what he brings going forwards & opening up space would often win out.
-
Tbh others are chipping in. Cabaye has more goals than him since the Man Utd game, Gouffran has the same amount. Hes just not thriving upfront atm.
-
Motd2 are normally better at pulling up incidents properly i think. Most pundits talking on it today have all been in agreement that we were done.
-
Wouldn't call him average but yeah, his passing is a bit s**** at times. It is. Saying that, for the last however many games the majority of our attacks have come down the right hand side. Its not all Debuchy, defenders have a hard time dealing with Sissoko due to his pace/power & it pushes them back. Gouffrans providing us with less on the left atm.
-
His movement is very good, his finishing is leaving a bit to be desired recently. Top strikers score atleast one of those chances hes through on goal for 2nd half , ignoring the run first half when he was through also but ran offside. These are big big chances against a top team, have to make them count to compete.
-
Ive not seen a goal dissallowed after that length of time in a long while. He knew Gouffran was offside. He learnt nothing new in that time period.
-
Had a great game, loses his composure to easily in moments.
-
I'm not sure that was anything to do with him. We went behind and the Tiote goal got everyone fired up, but in the first half we still weren't getting players into their penalty area. Most of our efforts were long range. In the first 5 minutes Sissoko could have put Cabaye/Remy through on goal with a better pass. Im not sure how much people are expecting like, we're playing a very good side.
-
Thats massively assuming that the formation & players he'd chosen werent the specific reason for Man City playing at that level. Fair enough. Assuming we were the reason Man City played the majority of the game in 2nd gear, it's completely useless stopping the opposition playing when you're not doing anything in return to reduce the deficit. Remy chance aside. HBA should have been on early in the 2nd half, if not starting. We're desperately short in attack without him. But we werent not doing anything were we. Remy was through on goal twice from it, Saylor was onside at the end. Today we outplayed them through short decisive passing, rarely did any of our players try to go past several of theirs. If Ben Arfa comes on & isnt perfect the way he tries to make a singular decisive contribution could just as easily lead to counter attacks. We all know he tries to much as a sub.
-
Remy was through on goal twice for one. Dont know why people keep repeating this bollocks, we're playing one of the best sides in the league. It's not bollocks though is it? Yes we had one chalked off but lack flair and creativity hence us playing two wide players who's role it is to track back and not add much to the attack. Sissoko & Gouffran add nothing to attack? Slightly big bias in your viewpoint there. Not worth discussing really.
-
Need to score to be a top 4 side. Thats 3 league games without a goal now Aye we've struggled for goals all season. We scored today mate. We've more threat in more areas of the pitch than we've had in a long time.
